He is a good person and means well. He is letting the world control his emotions though and taking it out on the forum.
I would be so interested to see the feedback on Cronin from the board before Lillard came back. Just on the draft, Jrue and letting Ayton go.
I think the stance would be different post draft/ pre sl then if you go post sl/pre dame. meaning Yangs play i think will have effects on the viewpoint many have.
Kind of calls into question why other mods let him do that? It's not like this is something new. He's been doing it for years.
I made thread on voting grades for the draft - consensus was between a C and D immediately after and between A and B after a few summer league games. I also did one on Jrue trade... Divided but most lean towards it being a bad deal but liked the deal - seeming because Jrue is a great guy and teams better style of play but risky contract.
I have my opinions on who is allowed what… Ive also let my emotions control my behavior at times, so I'm not judging. Just asking him to stop. Every thread. Every day. At a certain point one must acknowledge they have merely become a funnel for which they despise, exhibiting behavior that creates the same results as the subjects they negatively rail on. Segregation, tension and separation… its all the same.
Nice. Ill look for the thread. Curious about the before and after myself. So most liked the jrue deal but thought it was bad? Is that like when 79% said military spending is too high but only 67% thought military spending should be cut? Lol. So 12% thought military spending was too high, but shouldn't be cut? Lol. Thats why i keep saying to those who put so much value in polls, polls lie all the time. Polls are built to manipulate the questions to drive answers based on the pollsters agenda.
18-8 people like the trade 13-13 it's good vs bad http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/do...-and-do-you-think-its-a-good-bad-deal.385648/ Personally I like the trade but I believe it's a bad deal. I detailed in the thread - but I really like the type of player Jrue is and his style of play. But that contract makes the trade likely to not be a smart move long term. Kind of what you want with your heart vs what you logically know is best. Not everything can be graded as simple as yes no pass fail. Many decisions have both advantages and disadvantages that in some way make it good and in other ways make it bad.
I'm not sure either are really overreaction. We just had extremely limited information to make a good assessment in June. I mean it would be like teachers grading an essay based on the first sentence. I guess I could have listed incomplete as an option but that's no fun.
I feel pretty much exactly the way I felt on draft day. I'm glad they took the guy they thought was best.
I absolutely love how Joe has reformed this roster. It is full of talent, effort, and character. A couple more moves to go in the next year or so.....but the ride has been excellent.
Kris Murray was such a baffling pick at the time - as well as current Cronin/Schmitz regime. I've liked basically every other draft pick Cronin has done.
Healthy Zach Collins was solid. *Edit* He's definitely not Bam or Donovan Mitchell, though... I agree, though. Typically I would rather have two picks than one. The draft is all about just taking more swings and developing guys.
