How come in a big AL Central showdown, the Twins can get only 21,000 people last night? That's sad.

Tigers need a win tonight and i'll be set. If we get out of this series with a split I think we're golden for the rest of the year.

Around that 20,000 range. Although when Liriano was healthy, we were almost full every single night, but since he's been out.. less fans have came.

We had close to 30,000 people there. What a shitty game. I was thoughly disapointed. I thought we could do something so I wen't. What a bad effort. Punto the hard worker trys to bearhand it and look cool but ends up looking like a ass when he drops it. Hunter and Cuddy totaly bloper a ball Cuddy should have easily got. Most of hitters just banged it to DPs. When the 3rd pitch of the game is a HR you know its not going well.Minnesota didn't give the Twins a big crowd they should have gotten but the Twins responded by not desevering the money of a single one of those fans.

Silva is a little pussy bitch, Radke is hurt (was our best pitcher besides Johan and when Liriano was injured), and he's been on fire since like June, Boof is pretty horrible, Garza needs more expirience, Johan is god, and Liriano is hurt. The pitching staff almost has a L on it every night other than when Johan is starting. We need Liriano to get back asap (next week he may make his debut, he's making a rehab start on Saturday I believe), and Radke to get healthy again.Joe Mauer needs to start playing. I know he has to get at least 2 hits per night to raise his batting average up, but it has gone down every game and he's struggling to get 1 hit a night. We're struggling right now, we really need a confidence booster (aka Liriano to come back and own).

And Garz did very well tonight and in his last 3 starts. he's using the breaking ball and curve more often. Radke is done. Not just for this year, but done, period.Mauer was 4-4 tonight I believe. Maybe 3-3. I know he reached every time he had a plate apperance, although there may have been a walk mixed in there.

I fucking got pulled over by a damn cop because I just registered my truck yesterday, and my plates expired yesterday. Could've got arrested, but i'm sweet and didn't (or lucky). And I was driving around all night so that didn't help me to see the game. But by the stats, Garza didn't look good. And Mauer was 3-4, which is good. Radke has already said he's retiring at seasons end, I just wish he could at least finish the year off on a good note, not injured. I suppose Boof is getting better, but I still don't feel safe with him in the playoffs, and I doubt he can win a big game for us (i.e. in that final series vs. the White Sox he should pitch in the first or second game, and I don't think he could win it for us). We'll see though. I hope he can come through and play as well as he did vs. Tampa the other day. We have too much young pitching. We need to trade someone like Swarzak or Perkins and get some young hitting.

Last night was good. Mauer did well and Nevin showed some nice signs. Garza pitched pretty well as well. He's geting better and better. We've gotta get this one tonight. I never thought I'd say this but I have faith in Boof to not blow it for us. We've got to score some too though.

Garza did pitch well. Too many walks though. To be honest, a lot of those pitches during those walks were the kind that somebody like Santana would get called a strike. Close ones that a veteran would get in his favor. And, Cuddyer and Rondell both made dumb plays in the outfield that really put Garza in shitty situations. All-in-all I thought he did very well. We'll find out about Bonser in a few hours.

Bonser, Garza, and Baker should all feel worried. One is getting sent to AAA as soon as Liriano is back (unless we want to keep the one that gets kicked out of the roto for a spot starter or whatever since rosters expanded). I'd say Bonser has the best shot at staying, and if he pitches well tonight, he definitely has a spot in the rotation locked.

Liriano in his rehab tonight (still may be going on): 2 innins, 0 hits, 0 walks, 0 runs, 4 strikeouts.
