At no time during her trial or since has Maxwell expressed the slightest remorse. On the contrary, she blamed the girls. All the girls said she was worse than Epstein. Had a man approached them, they would be wary but a woman can be trusted. The girls were often in foster care, homeless, had addicted parents. She befriended them, offered to help get them modeling jobs, pretended to mother them. All the time grooming them. They all said she's a monster.

The most Machiavellian move imaginable would be for Trump’s DOJ to orchestrate a deal in which Ghislaine Maxwell names only those he seeks to punish, Democrats and personal enemies, while fully exonerating him and his inner circle. Naturally, her testimony would need to be meticulously crafted to avoid direct conflict with existing evidence, lending it a veneer of credibility while serving a calculated political agenda.

    Excerpts:

Let’s start with what should be on every headline in America: This week, Donald Trump’s Department of Justice met with Ghislaine Maxwell. Not once, but twice. For hours. Behind closed doors. Led by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who also just happens to be Trump’s personal defense attorney. The woman convicted of grooming, recruiting, and trafficking children—who spent years delivering girls into the hands of billionaires like party favors at a predator’s banquet—is now the GOP’s star witness in their depraved little theatre of deflection, trotted out not for justice, but for cover. And what did she get in return for her sudden cooperation? We don’t yet have that full answer, but we do know one thing she did get… limited immunity.

And the simple, gut-wrenching truth here is this: no one cuts deals with monsters unless they are terrified of the truth those monsters could unleash. And no one empowers a trafficker—unless they have something they need to keep buried.

We all know Maxwell is not confessing out of remorse. She’s not testifying to protect the next generation. She is bartering for her freedom. She is dangling names—real or invented—like raw meat, hoping the MAGA machine will give her the one thing she doesn’t deserve: mercy. And all she has to do is protect Donald Trump and bury the truth.

This isn’t justice. It’s obstruction wrapped in perfume and pearls.

Maxwell was convicted on five counts:

Conspiracy to entice minors to engage in illegal sex acts

Conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity

Transporting a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse

Conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors

    Sex trafficking of a minor

She wasn’t a bystander. She was a predator in couture. She approached 14-year-old girls at gyms, malls, and schools. She promised them opportunity. She offered shopping trips, tutoring, life-changing connections. Then she delivered them into hell. She didn’t just witness the abuse. She trained them to endure it. She participated. She profited. She destroyed lives with manicured ease. Hundreds of them.

And now? Newsmax is calling her a “victim.” As if her Cartier bracelets somehow shackled her into complicity. As if this wasn’t a choice—a career—built on the suffering of children. The rebranding of a trafficker into a misunderstood accomplice is not just revisionist. It’s perverse.

If anything comes of this I will be pleasantly surprised. Nothing will come of this.

Hoping for good things is stupid.

The only good thing that could come of this is justice for the victims, which isn't happening. But cracking the Republicans and Trump supporters burning MAGA hats and approval of 37% and falling I'll take.

Hard to imagine any way this could help Trump. No matter what Maxwell says. She exonerates Trump and gets sentence commuted? Could anyone but most Kool aid drinking cultist not see corrupt deal?

Jeffrey Epstein’s Sex Trafficking Operation Might’ve Been Bigger Than We Think
    Out on the Weekend
Permanent Musical Accompaniment to the Last Post of the Week from the Blog’s Favourite Living Canadian

Of all the endless stories about the relationship between the president and dead child-raping sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, this one seems to have scooted under the radar a bit. As the preposterous White House denials pile up, and the attempts at deflection are getting more and more baroque, the work of Senator Ron Wyden, Democrat of Oregon, stands out as conspicuously unspinnable. From The New York Times:

Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, the top Democrat on the powerful Senate Finance Committee, has been digging into Mr. Epstein’s financial network for the past three years. Some members of his staff have viewed confidential files that shed light on the immense sums of money that, they say, Mr. Epstein moved through the banking system to fuel his vast sex-trafficking network. In particular, filings by four big banks flagged more than $1.5 billion in transactions—including thousands of wire transfers for the purchase and sale of artwork for rich friends, fees paid to Mr. Epstein by wealthy individuals, and payments to numerous women, the senator’s office found. The filings came after Mr. Epstein was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges.Large money transfers to individuals, foreign countries, or obscure companies are the kind of things banks are supposed to be examining as potentially suspicious. Some of the Epstein money transfers disclosed in a report from JP Morgan Chase involved accounts at two Russian banks before those institutions were subject to U.S. sanctions. A few transactions red-flagged were for as much as $100 million.
Interesting enough on its own, but there is hidden treasure in there, too. From KPTV:

[Wyden] said investigators found links between Epstein and sanctioned Russian banks, and payments tied to women and girls from countries like Russia, Belarus, Turkey, and Turkmenistan. “These are not conspiracy theories,” Wyden said. “These are real leads pointing to an international sex trafficking operation.”Wyden accused the Trump administration, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, of blocking access to the full file, despite previously campaigning on transparency. He said repeated requests to review the material were denied. “I don’t know why Trump wants this to go away, but we’re not letting it,” Wyden said. “No one gets to sweep this under the rug.”
I have a guess why the president wants this to go away under the rug but, then again, I am possessed of a suspicious mind. Wyden revealed that the Treasury Department has a report describing over 4,700 money transfers connected to Epstein totaling over $1.1 billion-with-a-b. Four thousand money transfers? I wonder what other names might be in that report.

    She sounds stable and normal.

In October 2019, Banks announced that she would perform under the name Azilka (Russian: Азилька) during her tour in post-Soviet countries.[1]

On August 8, 2020, Banks announced that she intended to soon end her life by euthanasia and document the process on film.[108]

In February 2021, Banks publicly announced her engagement to American artist Ryder Ripps,[109] but the next month Banks announced the end of the relationship.[110] They had made an audio sex tape and sold it as an NFT.[111]

In November 2023, Banks posted an Instagram story in which she accused American record producer Diplo of sexually coercing her during the time they worked together when she was 17 years old. She said that he would pressure her to have sexual relations with him in exchange for music and then refuse to give her the tracks. She also accused him of sexual misconduct towards other women, calling him "someone who needs to be canceled from the [music] industry".[112]

In March 2025, Banks revealed that she had moved to Stockholm, Sweden. She had earlier labeled Sweden a racist country, calling for it to be bombed.[113][114]

Sounds like she's not playing with a full deck.

I went to high school in the latter part of 60s/early 70s and teen pregnancy was a big taboo.
I was 15 and got involved with someone who was 18. Different schools but only a year apart in school.
My first female lover was an adult while I was a minor but I was going to college.
14 year olds didn't fuck 40 year olds. Not willingly.
Yes, there was a time children married at puberty. When life expectancy was 35 that made sense.
