Every sports team has strict rules against throwing any item into field/ court. It could hit player or spectator. Every arena says anyone who throws items is subject to being removed and arrested. You can giggle about throwing sex toys to women but it doesn't change the point.

Yes you are correct. It's not only unsafe but it's wrong on a number of levels. I just could not resist the low hanging fruit so to speak. I apologize.

You can only throw plush Bill Walton dolls on the court and only if everyone does it.

At baseball games, if an opposing player hits a home run into the stands, some gas chant throw it back at the person who retrieves the ball. And cheer if that happens. Whereupon the thrower back is ejected.

Or they’re like a 14 year old kid who is plucked from the stands to pitch for the Cubs.

Lol. Talks about how out of line Geno was... As Geno is being proven right...

Her delusional fans are whining about how mean and tough the league is as Clark has been inconsistent and inefficient.

But again, the reality is that she needs to improve her handle and rely less on her physicality in this much more physical league.

She's a good player who can take over games. But she also leads the league in open possessions.

She didn't come in is far and away the best player in the league. AND THAT'S FINE

Geno was right. Her delusional fans were wrong. CC needs to adjust her game to earn the respect of her peers.

And I'm sure she will at some point.

Dude there's a difference between being physical and outright trying to hurt someone. The Pistons went out of their way to try to hurt Michael Jordan in the playoffs.

It doesn't make any sense that the W doesn't protect CC. The NBA sure as shit protects their superstars. Whether you think she's the best player in the league or not, the fans love her. She has elevated the league. It's flat out moronic to keep putting her at risk.

They call more flagrant fouls that benefit her than they call for anybody else. They are protecting her.

*Edit* She needs to adjust her game (improve her handle) and pass the fucking ball to the open player when the double comes.

If you have a good handle almost no player in the WNBA can stay in front of you 1 on 1. So they would have to send a double. When the double comes you make them pay by passing the ball ( maybe to one of your TWO all star teammates).

Flagrants don't do shit. They should be ejecting players. That one clip where the girl rushes in and checks her to the ground should have been an ejection. That's an extremely dangerous thing to do to someone. If you have your back turned to me and I run in at full speed and check you, you could get seriously hurt.

Are you talking about the one after she was poked in the eye? If so, I see that kind of thing all the time with no ejections.

You keep going into her game and none of that matters. The reality is that she IS the face of the league. It doesn't matter if there are better players. She has brought a shit ton of fans to the league. And this ridiculous jealousy that the older players have for her is both stupid and actually hurting the future of the league. Sophie Cunningham even said it. When she was on Phoenix her teammates openly talked about wanting to hurt her. Without CC, the league will fall back into obscurity.

No, it will not. The League was trending up before Caitlin Clark. What is happening to Caitlin Clark is exactly what everybody said was going to happen.

People are pissed because they thought she was going to be some transformational player that was going to completely dominate the league as a rookie. She didn't. And she still isn't.

She is a good player that can get hot and take over games. Absolutely.

They should not change the league to make it easier for Caitlin Clark. That would be bullshit. Without Caitlin Clark there would be a drop off initially, But the league would continue to grow as it was already.

Defenses are guarding her the way they are because of the way she plays. She is bringing it on herself.
