That's not an apples to apples comparison though! Why does ant get the shit Billups offense, and Pritchard the great Kerr offense to compare numbers? Gimme a break.

And do you believe that would be the case if they drafted and developed Ant in to who he is now and he had been starting there the last two years, and traded for Pritchard as he is now? It's like there's no context to your argument.

Guess we will see within the first 10 games where Boston ends up. My bet is they use a combo of both of them and it changes a bit due to the opponent they are playing. Starting might be Pritchard but there will be times Simons will have a bigger role.

No, I'm saying give them the same offense. Ant would be better in Billups offense, because of his athleticism. But that is never going to win.

Give them both a "winning" offense that doesn't rely on incredible athleticism and Pritchard would be more productive, IMO.

I don't think Pritchard has been starting for Boston (except when there are injuries).

Yeah, I think when both Ant and Pritchard are in practice Pritchard is going to be significantly better, and a more competitive player.

To the point that there is no question who should be the starter.

If we would have traded for Pritchard he would have taken the starting PG spot from Ant if winning were the goal.

My daughter was actually the wing and backup PG on that team.

I try not to coach my daughters because I don't ever want to give them something easier than another coach would.

I tend to overcorrect and give everyone else more of an advantage than my daughters.

But yeah, she (Liv, my youngest) was a big part of that championship. She absolutely carried us in the semis against the team we should have played in the championship. We were down 10 to them in the first half until our starting PG got in foul trouble and I had to switch Liv to the 1.

Liv cut them apart and got us the lead by the end of the first half, and then when we were able to get our starting PG back at the start of the 2nd half we locked them down and won by 15.

You're right though. I tried not to call too many plays. We ran a dribble drive offense and pressed full court (just like Oregon City High School) and I stressed thet plays were just suggestions. If you see something better/easier take it.

I told them I wanted them playing on the edge of out of control.

4 of the kids from that team are ranked in the top 20 in their class. Such a fun group to Coach.
