Russian media said Zelensky not being present shows he is not legitimate head of state.

The only reason Trump did this is to lobby for the Nobel Peace Prize...he doesn't give a shit about Ukraine or it's borders.

Zelenski met with the British instead. The people who are actually supporting his war effort against Russia.

There is no way putin gives up Crimea and if there can be a article 5 security agreement for Ukraine without joining NATO. End the war.

Fuck Putin. Giving up Crimea is encouraging Russia to keep going. That is encouraging MORE war.

It is encouraging more countries to develop and keep nuclear stockpiles. It is dissuading any country from ever giving up nuclear weapons once developed (and several countries are mere weeks to months from having nukes).

We should do whatever we can to support Ukraine recovering all of the territory they have a right to by treaty. That includes Crimea.

We should only accept Ukraine giving up Crimea when Ukraine themselves determines they can no longer continue fighting. And even then we should try to talk them out of it.

If you've got article 5, you have all the important benefits of being a NATO member. It's a pretty thin fig leaf to say that they'd have that and wouldn't be a member.

"My teenage daughter, she's going to have a baby in a couple of months. But don't worry, she's not pregnant!"

If I were NATO, I would "find" intelligence that says there is a high probability that Chornobyl is being targeted by terrorists. Don't mention who the "terrorists" are, but because of that, and it order to protect not only Ukraine and Russia, but all of Europe from a massive radiation leak, NATO will immediately be placing troops and equipment around the nuclear facility. We will also invite UN Peacekeeping Troops to help us. We will be there to only protect Europe, Russia, and Ukraine.

That would put NATO troops and air support in the region.

But isn't the point that we don't want NATO troops and air support to be in the area?

Witkoff suggested Article 5 like protection. Whatever that means. Probably nothing.

Yeah, fuck putin! So you really think the he will give up Crimea that Obama and Ukraine allowed to take with out a fight. That was the time to stand up to putin. You do realize that this war will go on and on with 1000's of more lives lost. I would 100% hope the russians would leave Crimea. It should be Ukraines call.
