    Good for Newsom...the more he looks like a NASCAR driver the more red state votes he can swing. The Dems need a new tactic to regain control of the govt. They shouldn't try and lean on Hollywood to be the face of the party anymore...it's not working.

    I love how all the people who don't live in California are saying that it's a "dumpster fire", etc, as if it has to be perfect or that every other state doesn't have the same, if not worse, warts.

    They got the "fire" part right at least. Califonia is one of the most self sufficient states in the US. It can literally become a country and not need much from outside to function. I have a lot of family there and most of them wouldn't think of living elsewhere. I prefer Oregon anyday.

    I think everyone other than people that are ridiculous would love to live in San Diego if the cost wasn't outrageous. One of the best locations to be in the US.
