We should all just start making up our own sources.

My sources close to the team say that @SlyPokerDog needs a grooming and a nail trim.

I'll just circle back to what I think the team is doing, and I think Dundon supports this kind of move.

If Dame looks like Dame, or even close to Dame, I think they will do an all-in move. It's all going to depend on how Shae and Scoot look this year. But next summer they can either choose to go with Scoot and Shae or they can try to put together a mega package and chase a star.

Predictions are hard, especially about the future. But it's still a basic investment principle to try to understand whether your investment is going to go to zero in the first six weeks.

I don't see any pitchforks myself. Obviously we are going to analyze every bit of information about the new owner, certainly now but probably continuously until he sells the team someday down the road.

Some of that information isn't going to be entirely complimentary to Dundon. He's not Jesus, he's a rich guy who is buying a sports team.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but I’m going the route of if there is no pride night then Portland peeps will do what they do best, protest and make everything a shit show.

Are you trying to disagree that Portland hasn't become a shit fest over the last 5 years compared to what is used to be?

We got really lucky with Paul Allen; we will never be so lucky again.

It had a blip for a short while, but if you have actually been downtown in the last few years, those talking points are overexaggerated. It has mostly recovered and I didn't really feel unsafe going there multiple times a week.

Phil Knight donated a gazillion dollars to the GOP every election cycle...he is a hard core conservative...most 1%ers are....I doubt Dundon is as much a "Trumper" as he is a 1%er...his residence is Texas I'm sure for the tax benefits as well. Paul was a well known liberal ..an exception to the status quo in my view and it shows in his will with his devotion to charities and humanitarian needs. As you said, we'll see but I never expect sports franchise owners to suit my politics.

True. Billionaires put tax cuts for the rich ahead of everything. But they don't have to get rid of Pride and Black history.

If they think they will take in one cent less from having a pride night versus a normal night they will cancel pride night. This is why pride night is usually a shitty matchup with low sales expectations already.

As someone will surely point out, this is the same with all themed nights.

Its not just disagree, its that your post shows how brainwashed and ignorant you are to basic facts.

I laughed at you for failing to see reality and using your own fear to drive a narrative thars changed.

There is a difference supporting this admin and being conservative. They are not necessarily the same. See Mitt Romney.

It might not have huge riots any longer but it's not a place people or businesses want to move to. See big pink selling for only 45 million a few weeks ago while it was 370 million a decade prior.

I'm not sure that people don't want to move there. The cost downtown has generally just been substantially higher than the burbs.

I think most cities are gonna have some adjusting to do in the work from home world. That's another reason why businesses are leaving is because everyone doesn't have to work in buildings downtown anymore.

That is one transaction, i'm looking forward to what they end up doing with it.

Portland is market based sourcing now too. So it doesn't matter as much where a business is located anymore. Like most jurisdictions have been doing throughout the US.
