Wow, I'm shocked that they parted with a First Round Pick for Branch.....Seahawks better go 14-2 now to make it a nice and late pick. :glare:

He is a very good player, but not the kind of guy who deserves a first round pick in compensation. Especially after the bridge had been burned between Branch and the Patriots and there was little to no chance of him returning to New England, they should have been lucky to still get a Second Round pick offered to them. But Seattle chose to overpay for him anyways.....

He's a good WR but he's not worth a first. Well what do you expect from the team that payed Nate Burleson $49 Mil. I bet that BB is laughing has ass off, now they can draft a WR with even more talent.

Calvin Johnson is the only player that I can imagine not needing a transition period. Reason being, he's already playing with a no name quarterback. He basically will know how to go on a bad team and do his thing grabbing passes from a quarterback that is hardly as good.Dwyane Jarrett has had Matt Leinart and John David Booty. Ted Ginn has had Troy Smith who is improving as a passer.Ask someone to name the Georgia Tech quarterback and they wouldn't know. Unless they watched the ND game.
