Losses to Oregon, Texas Tech - lose one of the two games to the Cougs - and lose another to ____

Cal beat the Beavers 44-7 last season and season openers are always an iffy proposition. Might be a bit premature to be adding that to the win column

Cal lost a lot of significant players to the transfer portal. The "experts" they say suffered greater losses on offense than any program in the country. They lost their starting QB. Beavs on the other hand greatly improved at QB.

Yeah, Cal lost a lot of players. Just not sure how they replaced them. I guess they could have.

That would be a successful season at this point. Certainly if they did split the WSU games and went 7-5. Something tells me a couple home games vs Cal and Fresno could bring an upset win.

This is so very true. First and second game of the season for every team just always seems like a crap shoot.

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Athletics and Blueprint Sports have agreed to a multi-year partnership that establishes Blueprint Sports as the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) marketing agency for Oregon State Athletics. Blueprint Sports will oversee revenue generation, fan engagement, and partnership development efforts in the new era of NIL for all Oregon State student-athletes.

As a part of the new partnership with Oregon State Athletics, Blueprint Sports has acquired and will assume operation of Dam Nation Collective, which has acted as the athletic department's official NIL collective since 2022. Dam Nation will be managed by a team of full-time, on-site Blueprint Sports executives who oversee all fan engagement, corporate partnerships, and special events for student-athletes. Those who have supported Dam Nation via membership can continue to do so and will be contacted with more information on the soon-to-be-unveiled new member benefits.

This partnership strengthens the existing NIL and Revenue Share infrastructure supporting Oregon State student-athletes, fans, and alumni—building on initiatives like OSUnited, a comprehensive and modernized program that addresses the evolving landscape of collegiate athletics through philanthropy, sponsor partnerships, and ongoing opportunities, events, and product offerings from the athletic department.

Would love to see if all these schools will make their NIL situations transparent? Or are they already. I can only imagine how much is going to these kids. Wish University of San Francisco still had a football team FAMS! HA!

Any idea on how much Dam Nation has taken in every year since 2022 and how big of a slice of the pie Blueprint Sports is now going to take?

But it’s a D2 school in every other sport. Is this really a good look for the Beavs?

They’re only joining for baseball though. It’s a very good look!

Baseball seems to be the outlier. I don't think it's a bad look to have Gonzaga join next year. They obviously won't have much more than Basketball. Though they also have a baseball team. Just not Football at this point.

The Pac-12 announced Tuesday it has secured a long-term, secondary media rights deal with The CW as it prepares to launch a rebuilt conference with nine members in 2026.

This agreement is an extension of its previous deal, which began in 2024 and will now run through 2030-31. The CW will broadcast 13 football games, 35 men's basketball games and 15 women's basketball games during the regular season. The network will also broadcast the women's basketball tournament semifinal and championship games.

Tuesday's news comes on the heels of CBS securing a deal in June to become the Pac-12's primary media partner. CBS's deal also runs through the 2030-31 season.

The Pac-12 will expand from two schools (Oregon State and Washington State) to nine in 2026 with the additions of Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga (basketball), San Diego State, Texas State and Utah State. The new Pac-12 will include five former Mountain West members.

The media partnerships with CBS and The CW are significant developments for a conference seeking to solidify its position as one of the top five leagues in the FBS. The new agreements guarantee the Pac-12 will reach 100% of U.S. households via over-the-air broadcast networks. The Pac-12 is assured at least 17 football games will air on national free-to-air networks starting in 2026, just behind the four power conferences, including the ACC's 18 scheduled games for 2024. Thirty-nine men's basketball games will be televised on free-to-air networks, ranking second nationally behind the Big Ten (41), according to The Pac-12.

"Our partnership with The CW has been one of mutual growth and transformation, from the development of our Pac-12 Enterprises' broadcast production business to the significant added value and positive impact to our current and future members via true national reach across 100% of U.S. television households," said Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould.

CBS and Paramount+ announced in June it will air a minimum of three regular-season football games and the Pac-12 Championship Game every year starting in 2026. The agreement also includes at least three regular-season men's basketball games and the conference's basketball championship game. CBS Sports Network will air a maximum of 10 football and 17 men's basketball games.
