The Jaguars are so underrated this season..nobody is really mentioning them with the top teams. They are probably my superbowl pick in the AFC. Beating a Pittsburgh team at full strength will be tough but I think they are right there with them. GREAT recieving core..and a lot of depth. A Vet RB who can still produce if hes healthy. A Lot of depth there as well. Defensively..I don't think I have to say much..they are stacked and have a chance to be top 3 all year long.I'm just marking this down now for the end of the year...
Lefty isn't much of a scrambler. Defensively, they've done it right...they have a great D-line, one of the best in the NFL. Top DT pair, IMO. Still too early for me to say how good they are, though. They could be good, or they could just be an average team like they were last year, although they don't have the advantage of the incredibly easy schedule this year.
Their receiving corps is hardly great. Wilford, Matt Jones, Reggie Williams and Mercedes Lewis are nothing special yet.
They won't make the playoffs, you watch. More players gonna start getting hurt just like what's happening
Good, i'm glad people don't agree. Funny script that you said Jags won't make the playoffs. Because when I said Pittsburgh was gonna win it last year..people said to me they wern't even going to make the playoffs. I actually made a $50 bet last year before the season that they would. The X-factor is gonna be fred taylor and if he can stay healthy. I'm not worried about lefty or the WR's. They beat a very good Dallas team this week. And if a was Cowboys fan I wouldnt be concerned at all. The NFC's team is def comin out of the NFC East..weather it's Philly..Dallas or the Giants.

They have an average at best offensive line, an unproven WR core, an older Runningback with twice surgically repaired knees, and Byron Leftwich isnt a top 10 QB or anything like that. I still see them struggleing to put points up on the board against many defenses.

Williams shall do alright, Wildford. The Greg Jones injury hurt them a lot though. He's a freaking workhorse and can run it down anyones throat.Also.. i'll take Leftwich over Pennington anyday of the week.

A vet of the league. But, Rickey Proehl is still a FA isn't he? That little guy always has something in his tank. He's one of my favorite players of all time.. very underrated.
I wouldn't really call Matt Jones, Ernest Wiflord, and Reggie Williams a great recieving core. But, when Taylor is healthy, he is proven to be a great back in all respects. Running, Passing, and Blocking. Also leadership. And Leftwich is a great poised quarterback and their defense is HOT.
JAX is definately a playoff contender. Leftwich might not be the greatest quarterback ever, but he's proved since college that his heart is in the game. Taylor is an excellent H-back. And I agree also that this could be Matt Jones's year to breakout. Once they get a rhythm going on offense, there defense will be there 100% to back them up. Their only real competition in the AFC South would be the Colts.
there colors, uniforms, and logo are all ugly...thats why, you have to go with the pretty cats vvvvvv
Anybody change their mind after what they did to the Steelers tonight? That defense is gravy.I'm waiting for the bandwagon to start to fill up now.

Defense looked great but they better start doing something on offense or they aint shit. Their a great team but you need to score a lot of boards if you want this team to go anywhere

Yea they only managed 9 points tonight..but look at who they were playing. No shame in that...especially when it's against the Superbowl Champs. It ain't like the offense looked bad tonight..they just couldnt manage any TD's.Now they gonna go beat Indy next week and really start turnin some heads.

But as much of that shutout had to do with Ben Roethlisberger clearly not being ready to play as it had to do with their 'great' defense.
