Look, I know how this can all sound insane to a normal person. But it’s already over and the only thing that might save us is the thing they’re preparing for now: The impending death of Donald Trump. Trump’s eventual death coming a lot faster than they expected. They knew it would happen but they thought they had at least a year to get Project 2025 installed. Trump is showing signs of rapid decay, looking like Queen Elizabeth weeks before her death. Trump’s death will inevitably be a flashpoint with people in the streets. It will be what sets the whole thing off, and the mechanism isn’t yet in place to quell the rebellion and militarize the entire country. The flag burning mandate is one aspect, setting up a quick mechanism by which the feds can arrest people when Trump dies. You’ll see more vaguely non-sequiter EO’s that will mostly be ways the feds can disappear you for doing something you weren’t planning on doing anyway… but could see someone doing if Trump were to die unexpectedly. Anyway, that’s just where my train of thought is at. I’m sure I’m just overreacting.
California state legislator introduced a bill to address problem of undocumented parents of citizen children facing deportation. The bill allows these parents to name non relatives as guardians. Many children have unofficial aunts, uncles, grandmas who are not biological relatives. Right wing Christian pastor threw hysterical fit and is mobilizing against it. H claims falsely bill would take children away from parents, change their gender identity (of course!) and sex traffic them. At protest he organized, San Francisco Chronicle spoke to protester who said she doesn't know why I'll says but knows it's wrong because pastor said so
