Put up jam yesterday. Pluto vanilla bean and strawberry basil. Pluot, idiot autocorrect, not Pluto. I know difference between fruit and planetoid.

Wild blackberries grow near my house. Going to get a bowl and take a walk. Can anyone place this quote:

    Making bread later today.

I remember that song when I lived in Concord, thought it unique as their two part harmony sounded like the Beach Boys, which I thought was different.

I did spaghetti all'assassina for the first time last week and should have taken a picture. That stuff was dynamite. Tonight I made a four hour slow cooked beef ragu pasta with grated pecorino romano. You just can't beat a good Italian recipe filling your house with the most amazing smells.

Shit. Or rather piss. Out of a clear blue sky hit with sudden urinary tract infection. They told me antibiotic shot would hurt my arm and no lie. (Hardest thing for a woman to do one handed, putting on and taking off bra.)

Forget haute cuisine. Going to store tomorrow for bananas and potatoes. They told me I need potassium since I have to pee every 10 minutes. Painfully. I have lentil soup which also has potassium. Breakfast tomorrow.

Lashanna is taking care of me.
