My take is that when you talk about JKS you don't really name any area in which you believe he is better than Moore. You don't mention:
    • Accuracy
    • Decision-making
    • Ability to Read Defenses
    • Football IQ
    • Leadership
    • Mental toughness
    • Arm strength
    • Footwork
    • Improvisation
    • Overall toughness
or any of the other intangibles that make Quarterbacks great. You just say you feel he's better. It's fine that you feel that way but the highly paid UO coaching staff thinks otherwise.
Who are we supposed to consider more, you or the people who are getting paid to win games for their coaching careers? Dante is doing a great job. I don't know why you don't like him, he's balling... :dunno:

UO will ALWAYS be able to recruit talent worldwide. If we missed on JKS, it happens. Teams miss.

Its also the other qb's in the room now and NIL bucks. If he develops after a year or two at Cal, who knows what could happen. Oregon strategy to a degree is to let targets bake early then decide on portal selects and nil commitment.

geeeezuzz....you are twisting any rational logic into a insane pretzel to justify a wild assertion

yeah, right...all the Ducks had to do was guarantee the starting QB position at a P4 school to a high school player....when they already had Moore and Novosad. No principled coach of a P4 program would do that. And it may not have mattered anyway. JKS had been committed to Cal before he flipped a few days before LOI day, then flipped back. Even a dishonest promise of a starting gig may have not done the job. You simply don't know

it also doesn't matter how many times you write choose in caps...it doesn't change reality

I'm also not buying the assertion that JKS is better than Moore, especially not this season

I agree Moore might be better this year. Maybe.

Nah, he gave valid reasons for his disagreement. What you haven't done is give valid reasons why you think JKS is better than Moore. We're still waiting on that. :dunno:

So you’re saying that any stats are pointless because it’s a team sport or just those stats? I’d say completion percentage and interceptions are usually pretty good indicators of QB skill. Dante has been very good at decision making so far. I haven’t really seen any dangerous throws or bad decisions from him. We are in the hunt for a natty this year, and every year honestly…. QB is the one spot where I simply would not want to hand it over to a true freshman. It’s extremely rare for true freshman to start at big programs. Dante did it at UCLA and it was kind of a disaster. That’s a big reason why he transferred to Oregon and sat a year to learn the offense.

Bruh. 5 times people have said Oregon had no control over it. Did you read any of those?

He transferred. Schools cant stop transfers.

Like holy crap man the last 4 pages people have told you this and you still say the same thing lol.

And five times I’ve told them they did but chose to go another direction and that is fine. That is why he transferred. Read the thread.
I stand by my original assertion.
Unless you are actually moderating something for once maybe you should step back.
Nobody has posted anything against forum rules. Every response to me was respectful and they made their points. I in turn did the same.
Why are you even entering this conversation? Unless it’s to give your opinion on the issue? If so do that.

Lol my opinion is your opinion is wrong.

"Chose to go a different direction" in college football leading to a dude leaving because Dante Moore won the job is two different things.

You gotta be better than that. This is basic logic.
