I agree Democratic party leadership isn't and can't lead fight. But there are fighters. What does this guy propose? Get a gun? Have a shoot out with National Guard troops? Dictators do fear words. Trump tried to get cast of Saturday Night Live arrested. Insisted Colbert be fired. Rails at honest media. Congress went into recess to avoid hearing the words of Epstein victims. I would say they hurt Trump a lot more than some comedian insulting people for not doing what he's not doing.

Kari Lake, who ran unsuccessfully for governor and senator in Arizona and still insists she really won but elections wete rigged, thought it would be a good idea to try to troll Senator Gallegos. She posted the senator's father sold drugs and he sells bullshit, calling it genetics. Senator replied the great thing about America is son of a drug dealer can repudiate that evil and get elected to the Senate, beating a second rate TV personality who never made big time.
