    Yeah I'm not sure it took any more or less skill to play in any specific era (except maybe 7 footers previous to the mid 70s). It just took and takes different skills to succeed in today's NBA than in any other era and besides pre-60s. I think the skill level has been about the same again just different skillsets were required to succeed and dominate.

    It could create more last minute shots from half court in the first three quarters. Not sure how much that will affect the outcome.
