Those tickets were purchased preseason. Stop hating bro. It’s ridiculous. You honestly go to bed at night thinking this? You know it’s because of CC that the teams are now on charters and 5star hotels like the NBA. No argument about it. No other reason. SHE is why they just got that new TV deal. The players association would have NO leverage without her joining the league recently. Sad part is, the hate is so strong they don’t even realize it. Stop the hate for NO reason.

How in the hell is saying the wnba will be fine hating on CC? Lol

I even said they'd sell more if she were there.

Crazy. You're far too sensitive about this player.

As are you my friend. I can’t stand when people don’t acknowledge greatness for no reason whatsoever. It’s like with me on here.

People tuned into NBA because of Bird/Magic, Michael, Shaw, LeBron. And a lot of them stayed. Because the product was good. Same dynamic.

Absolutely not the same at all.
They would need 4 or 5 more players like Clark to become Bird Magic Michael Lebron Kobe.

Right now Clark is like a Jerry West or Bob Causey at this point. When the league has 6-8 premier stars then they will start rolling. Right now they are fabricating rivalries.

I didn't say Clark was equivalent of all those guys out together. All I said was people start watching when they hear about a star. And can keep watching.

Except I'm not sensitive about her. I'm annoyed at her fans whining incessantly.

    She's a fine basketball player.

She needs to adjust her game if she wants to maximize her potential. How do I know this? She leads the league in turnovers and open possessions. By a lot. She has a very poor assist to turnover ratio for a point guard. And she shoots a below average percentage from the field and the 3 point line.

That's not hate. They are just facts.

When she makes that adjustment she will be much better.

I (and many others) said she'd have those problems and people called it hate. Except now she's actually having those problems and her fans are super sensitive about it (or just don't want to acknowledge it, rather whining about refs).

It is what it is. She's not the best player in the league. Yet. But she's very good. She'll be better once she starts making the adjustments.

It's great marketing. It's what they've been missing.

They will create those stars if they keep it up.

Valkyries made playoffs in inaugural season. Unfortunately no one expected it. Chase center, where they play, is booked for tennis tournament and Oakland Arena also has event booked. So team and fans have to trek to San Jose for playoff games.

    I think so to.
A good rivalry will always draw attention. Caitlin Clark is a huge piece to the future of the league for sure.

Shaw? Brian Shaw? I never thought of him as a big draw. :)

I am going to fucking kill auto correct.

    Shaq of course.

Meanwhile, Valkyries lost to Seattle on last second shot by Storm. Major results. Seattle now in playoffs. Valkyries out of #6 seed. Play against Lynx who have league's best record. If they win they get #7 but lose and fall to #8 and rematch with Minnesota while Seattle gets #7.

New York and Phoenix in OT. First two games (Lynx/Valkyries and Dream/Fever) boring blowouts.

Thanks for the updates @crandc . I honestly haven’t watched a game since Mid July when CC went down with injuries for the last time.
I’m one of those “Nouveau Fans” brought in by CC and can admit it.
