Its going to be hard to prove the encouragement, because as far as I could see the issue with the can had been settled and squashed. They still said he'd get to do a run-in and have his spot with the wrestler... but beyond that I think its all on the dude who tried to kill someone.
And they didn't protect the guy who couldn't protect himself after they told the kid to "get receipts", making sure the kid understood what he meant, while amping him up to apparently "act" like he was going to fight? Sorry. They are responsible as well. I hope the victim sues the shit out of them and I hope he wins.
Sounds like the wrestler that invited him to attend was the guy telling him to get his receipt. Which he says he only said in character. He apparently has been friends with the Jackson family for years and is not the promoter. Sounds like the other wrestlers don't particularly care for that guy.
Oh I agree they are responsible. To the extent in the eyes of the law, I dont know how far criminally they can go. Civil wise? They are fucked.
Rampage Jackson's son, Raja, arrested on assault charge Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, has been arrested on a felony assault charge following a brutal attack of a pro wrestler. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department website, Jackson was arrested and booked on Thursday morning and is currently being held on $50,000 bail. No further details of the pending case have been revealed as of yet. The arrest came nearly a month after Jackson, 25, was caught on video assaulting pro wrestler Stuart Smith (also known as Syko Stu) at the KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy in Los Angeles. Jackson entered the ring, slammed Smith and punched him until he was unconscious. Jackson was eventually pulled off Smith by several other wrestlers and fled the academy, which is located in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles. The incident was livestreamed and widely spread across social media. Smith spent several days in intensive care before being released on August 31. He later detailed the injuries he sustained from the unplanned assault on Facebook, stating that he had a "serious head injury," as well as "trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth." Jackson's father condemned the attack on social media and suggested that his son be punished for his actions. "I think he should do a little [jail] time," Jackson said on "The Ariel Helwani Show." "Do a little community service, and go to anger management class, get some therapy." https://www.espn.com/mma/story/_/id...son-son-raja-arrested-assaulting-pro-wrestler
Was out at the Blazers rally in Gresham today. Doug Fir's presence was scaring the crap out of the 2 year old grandkid.
