    He showed me nothing to make me think he is at an All-Star level. Couple of nice dimes and court vision, but that doesn’t make you an allstar. Why would you think that he WOULD make an allstar team?

    I’ll go a step further and say he might not even play much this season at all to be honest. CB doesn’t like to play guys who don’t play defense, we’ve seen this. He was destroyed on that end in Vegas by guys that won’t even be in the league this season.
    It’s fine to be excited about his future, but just keep it realistic. Just like the 55 win prediction on here every season.

    @THE HCP,

    Whoa, you're very negative and slinging falsehoods. Funny how many people in the industry saw what you didn't see. Hansen obviously has skills and ability beyond a typical rookie. He was fantastic and stunning in Vegas and his play in the tough CBA shows he's got many abilities many players never have in their bag.

    Based on what he wrote, and I have no reason to doubt him since he's here, Hansen has a history of playing up to and then exceeding the level of competition he plays with and against. Being matched up against Clingan and RWIII will make him a much better defender.

    Driven by that area 100s of times, going to either Kellogg or Pietro's (both ironically gone). Hell, I was adjacent to that yesterday.

    I should check it out.

    I hope every Chinese NBA fan votes for him, because it'll show how much they need to change the process.

    Fans currently only have 50% of the voting power to name the all star game starters and don't have any say in the backups. Writers and players each have 25% say in the starters. So even if all of China voted for Hansen it wouldn't account for 50% of the vote for starters, not close to 50% because people can vote for the starter all over the world and then you have the players and media who in all likelihood will give Hansen no votes.

    I think the system is pretty good right now.

    Of course this person liked your post. How fucking embarrassing would that be if he got voted in.

    Not at all, because the all-star game/weekend is a huge embarrassment all by itself. It really doesn't matter if Jokic, Yang, or Daffy Duck gets voted in.

    Embarrassing? Please, don't panic on us dude. I'm sure just like back in the days of Zaza Pachulia, Yang's countryman won't go crazy voting for him just because he's in the league. He'll have to do something first. But if he becomes a decent starter a few seasons from now I won't be surprised & no one should feel embarrassed if he receives inordinate amount of votes relative to his talent level. Mediocre stars playing in the bigger markets have benefited from this same dynamic getting inordinate amount of votes just because they play for a bigger fan base. Thats just the way it goes. Hell, few things would please the League's front office more then Yang becoming good and further engaging that huge market... they sure won't be calling foul
