There have been concerns expressed about UO's OTs holding up in pass sets especially for Isaiah World. But going back to preseason murmurs from Duck insiders, the feeling was this OLine group was the best they've had assembled in a while especially in run blocking. Both of Oregon's Lines are significantly bigger then PSU's. I read their OLine averages a 46 lb advantage per player vs PSU's DLine. My speculation is while we've seen them put a lot of misdirection plays on tape in these warm up games, we may see them try to impose their will and run it right at them... maybe see sledgehammer RB Jordon Davison have an increased role setting up play action when they stack the box STOMP
really? Honestly I thought I was going out on a lonely limb this morning with a longshot prediction. Could I ask you to recap their take? STOMP
They simply said Oregon had a size advantage on the lines and they also talked quite a bit about the TE position.
Honestly they have put more effort into breaking down the Alabama bs Georgia game but they did give Kenyon Sadiq some love for sure. edit- bs was a typo. Was supposed to be vs but it looks too good there to change.
Oregon's average sized starting Offensive Lineman is 6'5 325 lbs going up against the average PSU starting Defensive Lineman at 6'3 279 lbs. STOMP
That would be good also. Whichever team wins I’ll be happy but it’s still fun to watch Washington lose.
Oh don’t mistake me for a UW fan. Probably my least favorite school. I just think Ohio State is vastly overrated living off the rep of last years team and Jedd Fisch seems to know how to get his teams prepared for big games. Plus its hard to play at the Lake.
