A very tough game to watch as a Jets fan....Several mistakes such as a 10 Yard Punt, bad 2 Minute Drill Offense, and Penalties that were costly and whenever you give a team like the Patriots an opportunity they will capitalize on it. There were some bright spots though as Jerricho Cotchery and Laveranues Coles both had 100 yard games, Chad Pennington looked pretty good for the second straight game, and the team showing the ability to come back from 24 points down to 7 points down late in the game instead of giving up and letting them win. Hopefully Mangini can take some of the lessons he learned from this weeks game and formulate a great Gameplan for the Week 10 Game at New England in November though.
Not a big loss. It was a fun game to watch as a Jet fan or at least a fun 2nd half. Next week we are playing at Buffalo, so we should win that game.
Pennington needs better clock management, and Mangini has to learn to put in someone that can throw a deep ball with 15 seconds left.
I wouldn't underestimate Buffalo.Their defense has been quite impressive. Much better than the Titans D and might be as good if not better than the Patriots D.

If you take away that hail mary INT (which really doesn't count except in the stat book), Penny this season:46 Completions70 Passes625 Yards4 TD's0 INT's113.6 QB Rating(With the INT it's only 107.1 QB Rating)Penny's looking good.

However, Belicheck has not returned the favor. Most people around here believe that Belicheck has a personal vendetta against the Jets. This vendetta would have something to do with when Belicheck worked for the Jets during 1997-1999 and was announced our Head Coach for a day after Parcells Retired, before spurning us to go off to New England for more money. It is also believed that Belicheck feels betrayed by Mangini in that he went back to New York to be our Head Coach here, despite his obvious Dislike for us. Hence why he did things like deactivating his security card after Interviewing with the Jets so that he cannot get back into his office, and has treated him rather coldly ever since he accepted the Jets job.
