Maroney and Dillon ran over, under, past and through us#3 - i loved how we came back. thats good character and good heart.#4 - Penninton looks good. real good.
Just one comment is I dont fully agree with #2. We held Corey Dillon and Laurence Maroney to a 4.0 YPA on their rushes, they didnt do extremely well on their rushes, they just ran the ball on us 36 Times. Our Run Defense does need to get better on third down though to help get the ball back in our Offense's hands, but so far they have done a great job on preventing the long runs.
^^^^ thats true, i meant that in general, the run defense needs help. it isnt terrible, but the fact that they ran 36 times is bad, regardless of the yardage
Also, we werent able to stop the run at all on that final drive. Especially Dillon, who ran right up the gut for 9 yards every play.
