Duop Reath is 29 - guy isn't going to making any Leap.

Rob Williams played 26 games total the last two years.

So I think we know the answer to both those questions - not much of a difference.

You keep talking about how so many posters here are going to miss a center like DA.

I'm just telling you no - I won't. Many other posters echo similar opinions.

To me it doesn't matter if both Clingan and Yang are solid or if they both totally flop. I hated watching DA play basketball for the team I rooted for. I can't think of a Blazers center that ever gave worse defensive effort. It reminds me of the pain of watching Felton eat cupcakes or Damon Stoudamire pound the rock. I'm super glad Ayton is gone and could care less even if it costs us numerous wins (which I doubt it will).

Reath hasn't been beat up in the NBA or College since he's 18 like a lot of bigs....at 29 he's not ageing out...he's super low mileage. He's got another 4 years of prime time. He's also got a new big man coach in Splitter. I saw Reath put up 38 pts in the G league. Rob, you might be right about but if he miraculously plays 70 games he's an X factor over Yang at this point.

simple hand signals would be the way I would approach. Anything complicated they can discuss during timeout or when he’s out.

Refs are not going to use hand signals.

Damnit, I missed the opportunity to use that huh? Still preseason, I’ll get up to speed.

Say less. I have this in my back pocket. You’ll take Yang’s stat line from last night over anything DA does this season with the Lakers. We got it. You feel Yang will help us win more games this season than DA would have. Say less.
