1st Round1. Oakland Raiders - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia TechThe top WR in the country when this team is just straight awful? Well the Raiders view Walter as their QB of the future, so despite doing what is smart, they'll just go grab the biggest offensive weapon available.2. Tennessee Titans - Joe Thomas, OT, WisconsinThis team has offensive talent. They have no O-line. Hence a prototype Left Tackle is the no-nonsense perfect pick here.3. Detroit Lions - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre DameAnother offensive draft pick for Matt Millen and the Detroit Lions. While nothing is ever as good as it seems, nothing is ever as bad as it seems either (except the track record of the Millen's drafting) and Brady Quinn is still the top QB prospect of this draft.4. San Francisco 49ers - Ted Ginn Jr., WR, Ohio StateThe 49ers are building an offensive powerhouse (or attempting to) and what they obviously lack is a top tier WR. The 49ers would love to get their hands on Calvin Johnson, but will have to settle for the speedy Ginn Jr.5. Green Bay Packers - Adrian Peterson, RB, OklahomaAhman Green is old and his contract is up and Gado was shipped out to Houston. While the holes are plentiful in Green Bay, none is more obvious than RB.6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Quentin Moses, DE, GeorgiaIt's time to get the guy who will replace Rice and restore the power to this former powerhouse defense. WR is the other option here, but Gruden is a defense first guy.7. Houston Texans - Levi Brown, OT, Penn StateDavid Carr is a good QB. Andre Johnson is a good RB, and Dom. Davis is a good RB. But pretty much the entire line still needs to be upgraded.8. Washington Redskins - Paul Posluszney, LB, Ohio StateI'm tempted to go with a QB here, but I think the Redskins give Jason Campbell at least a year. The Redskins' D this year is looking like they've lost the edge and Posluszney is the top LB in the draft.9. Cleveland Browns - Dwayne Jarrett, WR, So. Cal.It's decision time for the Browns. To roll with Frye or to replace him. I'm of the opinion that Romeo stays the course and adds another weapon for Frye to throw to.10. Kansas City Chiefs - Troy Smith, QB, Ohio StateTrent Green may or may not return this season, but either way it's time he is replaced in Kansas City. Troy Smith is a guy that can beat you with his arm or his feet.11. Miami Dolphins - Sam Baker, OT, So. Cal.Miami has a good QB. Miami has multiple good targets for that QB. Miami has a good RB. What Miami also has? The worst O-line in the league (no disrespect Houston).12. New Orleans Saints - Gaines Adams, DE, ClemsonCharles Grant is no slouch, but this is a mix of best player available and the Saints taking care of what would be a need in a year or two anyhow. If your wondering how the Saints ended up down here, check their schedule, it's brutal, they are a better team than this pick.13. Arizona Cardinals - Brandon Meriweather, S, MiamiThe Cardinals need to upgrade their defensive backfield in a bad way. Adrian Wilson and Antrel Rolle have talent, but it takes more than two guys to fill 5 positions. Meriweather is a stud and projects well into the NFL.14. Buffalo Bills - Sidney Rice, WR, USCJ.P. Losman looks a lot better this year than he ever has before. While he's no Carson Palmer, he's no Ryan Leaf either. Time to get him a legit big-play target and Sidney Rice fits.15. Dallas Cowboys - Justin Blalock, OL, TexasThe Cowboys' line is in shambles, and Blalock can fill their need at OG or RT. He is a true run-blocking powerhouse who will open holes in the running game no matter where he lines up.16. St. Louis Rams - Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan State.Marc Bulger isn't old yet, but he's injury prone and his contract his nearing it's end in a couple years. Drew Stanton can sit and be the future of this offensive powerhouse.17. New York Giants - Quinn Pitcock, DT, Ohio St.Believe it or not, the Giants are desperately wishing they still had Kendrick Clancy. Pitcock is a star on the rise in Ohio St. and could have top 10 stock by draft time.18. Pittsburgh Steelers - LaRon Landry, S, L.S.U. Troy Polumalu is a stud at SS, but the Steelers need to upgrade over Clark at the FS position. Landry can get the picks, Polumalu can make the hits. It'll be a dynamic duo.19. New York Jets - Frank Okam, NT, TexasThe Jets are solid in most places but have a few holes to fill... and the biggest one both figuratively and literally is in the center of the D-line.20. Denver Broncos - Michael Griffin, S, TexasThe Broncos always seem to be a player away from greatness, and Michael Griffin is a stud who has experienced winning a Championship before.21. Carolina Panthers - Marcus McCauley, DB, Fresno St.McCauley is a bit raw but he can do anything and everything in the defensive backfield. The Panthers are constantly shifting men around trying to cover what seems to be a Defensive Backfield that is always 1 man short. McCauley can help settle that.22. New England Patriots - Patrick Willis, ILB, Ole MissA classic over-achiever who has a lot of talent. The Patriots desperately need youth in their LB corps. More on this later.23. Minnesota Vikings - Buster Davis, LB, FSUThis Vikings teams is moving towards being a defensive powerhouse in a hurry. Adding Buster gives them youthful talent where it's needed most.24. Atlanta Falcons - Amobi Okoye, DT, LouisvilleA classic Run-Stopping and hole-filling DT. The Falcons need help in the middle.25. San Diego Chargers - LaMarr Woodley, OLB, MichiganAnother one of those great "tweener" guys who fits so perfectly in the 3-4 defense. Godfrey needs to be replaced on, and with Woodley now opposite Merriman and one of the best D-line's in the NFL at tying up blockers, expect the Chargers to lead the league in sacks. Every week.26. Philadelphia Eagles - Jeff Samardzija, WR, Notre DameStallworth is a Free Agent and though Brown is a decent number 2, he's nothing special. This is a risk for Philly (hence why Samardzija falls so low) because the talented WR could still choose to go pro in Baseball instead.27. Jacksonville Jaguars - Michael Bush, RB, LouisvilleA top 5 talent who's stock takes a Willis McGahee type hit due to a leg injury. The Jags need to replace Fred Taylor one of these days, and while Jones-Drew is a good talent, he's not more than a change-of-pace back. Bush is powerful, fast, and can catch. It might be a risk, but it's a good gamble this late in the draft.28. New England Patriots (via Seattle) - Victor Abiamiri, OLB, Notre DameLess of a tweener and more of a DE in college, but in the New England version of the 3-4 he won't need to do much pass coverage. Rushing the QB will be his specialty and he'll do it well in New England. As said before, this defense needs youth in the LB corps.29. Indianapolis Colts - Leon Hall, CB, MichiganMarlin Jackson has yet to live up to his billing and looks a lot slower than originally thought. Leon Hall is a burner who can cover and tackle. He will add some much needed punch to a mostly mediocre Defensive backfield in Indianapolis.30. Baltimore Ravens - Chris Leak, QB, FloridaHe fits into the Steve McNair type and will have a year or two to learn from the master before taking over control of the team.31. Chicago Bears - Greg Olsen, TE, MiamiA possession TE who can block and has some pretty fast feet on him. He's more Tony Gonzales than Antonio Gates, but that's certainly not a bad thing.32. Cincinnati Bengals - Adam Carriker, DE, NebraskaJustin Smith is the only legit pass rushing stud in the Bengals' D. Carriker gives Cincinnati a set of legit bookends and will help this offensive powerhouse become a powerhouse on both sides of the ball.2nd Round1. Oakland Raiders - Marcus Thomas, DT, Florida2. Tennessee Titans - Kyle Young, C, Fresno St.3. San Francisco 49ers - Fred Bennett, DB, South Carolina4. Green Bay Packers - Josh Beekman, OG, Boston College5. Detroit Lions - Joe Newton, TE, Oregon State6. Houston Texans - H.B. Blades, LB, Pittsburgh7. New York Jets (via Washington) - Kenny Irons, RB, Auburn8. Cleveland Browns - Kareem Brown, NT, Miami9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Daymeion Hughes, CB, California10. Kansas City Chiefs - Steve Smith, WR, So. Cal.11. New Orleans Saints - Prescott Burgess, OLB, Michigan12. Miami Dolphins - Tim Crowder, OLB, Texas13. Arizona Cardinals - Ryan Harris, OT, Notre Dame14. Buffalo Bills - Doug Free, OL, Northern Illinois15. St. Louis Rams - Rufus Alexander, OLB, Oklahoma16. New York Giants - Tarell Brown, CB, Texas17. Dallas Cowboys - Jason Hill, WR, Washington St.18. Pittsburgh Steelers - Brian Leonard, RB, Rutgers19. New York Jets - Dan Bazuin, OLB, Central Michigan20. Denver Broncos - Brandon Mebane, DT, California21. Carolina Panthers - Earl Everett, OLB, Florida22. New England Patriots - Eric Weddle, S, Utah23. Minnesota Vikings - Arron Sears, OT, Tennessee24. Atlanta Falcons - Mason Crosby, K, Colorado25. San Diego Chargers - Desmond Bishop, ILB, California26. Philadelphia Eagles - Tony Hunt, RB, Penn St.27. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mike Jones, OL, Iowa28. Seattle Seahawks - Jordan Palmer, QB, UTEP29. Indianapolis Colts - Tim Shaw, LB, Penn St.30. Baltimore Ravens - Manuel Ramirez, RT, Texas Tech31. Chicago Bears - Ryan Moore, WR, Miami32. Cincinnati Bengals - Aaron Rouse, S, Va. Tech

Maybe round 3 or 4, but Bulger is in his contract year next season, and Ferotte will still be a good backup, so I'd much rather get something else we need more like a younger o-line, and some defensive backs. As for Harris, he's cool. He was on the show 'True Life: I want the perfect body' on MTV some odd years ago.

Nice job but I hope the Ravens don't take a QB first round. I still have some faith in Boller and there's still Brohm, Henne that I personally feel could be the Andrew Walter, Charlie Frye of this draft.A need pick for us is definately RT/RG. I think if we do pick late, we'll take a RB. I'll about to accept that Jamal of today is and never will be again Jamal of old. Irons would be nice.

Word is on ESPN Insider that Michael Bush is considering staying another year because Brohm is considering staying another year, and that the Douglas-Urrutia-Brohm-Bush foursome would be deadly enough to make a National Title run.And the fact that Bush is considering that BECAUSE of Brohm, tells me that Brohm is probably going to stay. I'm not sold on Bush staying yet though.

Kinda like a Matt Leinart 2005-2006 Draft Scenario.
I don't like the pick of Buster Davis from the vikings. Napoleon Harris looks like he is partially living up to the hype he got during the moss trade. Ben Leber has been nothing short of solid. We drafted Chad Greenway last year. EJ Henderson was apparently the most impressive player on the roster during TC and is only progressing as the season goes on. Look for the Vikings to pick a cornerback, quarterback or Wide Reciever. I really like Tarvaris Jackson but I honestly don't know if Childress can mold him into a professional level quarterback, especially after making the jump from division 1AA football. Chris Leak is still there.. would make a good pick to challenge Tarvaris.Fred Smoot has been below average as the season has progressed. For the amount of money we pay him, don't expect the vikings to want to hang on to him for much longer. With Hall still on the board I think they would consider him before buster.Troy Williamson, Marcus Robinson, and Travis Taylor aren't exactly stu wide recievers as of now. Williamson is getting better and better as time goes on but a young recieving core of Williamson and Samardzija would make the vikings a feared offensive team for the future. Anyways... overall good mock, I just have to zero in on my vikes lol.

Give me a break, I did it one night that I had trouble sleeping. Other than double checking spelling and to make sure I didn't give the same player to two teams, I didn't double check it (I put thought into it the first time after all). Somehow I just missed Lynch. *shrugs* I'll do better the next time, I promise.

And as far as I can tell, ole Jets' trash Cowart in his 1st year > better what you have now.Dynamite and EJ are nothing to be proud of, they may be servicible, but neither are a playmaker as I see them. Bust gives them a Vilma-type LB in the center that can just make plays.
Another quick note..The 49ers are gonna be an insane team in the future if they keep getting top 5 picks like this mock suggests. Alex Smith, Frank Gore, Tedd Ginn jr., Vernon Davis... It's like a damn college all star team. Scary to think about 3-4 years down the road, especially if smith progresses like they expect him to.
Might wanna edit.. Sidney Rice doesn't play at USC.. Two Offensive Lineman for us? Wow that would suck IMO.

Where is Marshawn, you got all the CAL defensive players, but where is Lynch? You expect him to stay, man I hope you are right?
Vikes:Leon Hall would be a better pick if we go with the D in the first again. We've got the best running defense in the NFL and if anything we have too many good LB's. However Smoot sucks. Hall would be nice. But I think will get a WR as that's easily our biggest need. Leber's be great. EJ isn't amazing but he's nice and Greenway will be here next year. Nap Harris has been doing good and last week Dontarrious Thomas played well. In the second we would take a WR if we didn't take one in the first. Maybe a FS or QB would be a choice too but I like Travaris Jackson.
