And that's after having played teams like the Bengals, Denver, and San Francisco (who was doing well offensively heading into the game). We also have one of the highest success rates defensively on 3rd Down (allowing 1st downs just 25% of the time), behind only Chicago and San Diego.We've been playing disciplined ball too. We have the 3rd least yards penalized against us. We're 8th in the Time of Possession battle too, something that I expect to only get better.This defense is for real, and the amazing thing is we should only get better as the year goes on. I'm not hanging it up on the offense yet, but everybody should get used to calling us a defensive ball club, because that's what we are now, and I like it!

Dude, no offense but thats mainly cause teams have been getting ahead of them early and then pounding the ball all the Second Half knowing full well the Chiefs cant stop the Run. Same reason the Jets and Packers had top Defenses last year despite everybody knowing they really weren't that great.

Re: Week FOUR Defensive Rankings! Damn. Baltimore still #2 to San Diego.If the defense actually showed up in the first half of the Cleveland and San Diego games, we'd be higher. But they didn't so we're sitll 2nd.
