Discuss here!Frank Thomas solo HRBarry Zito looks great.Bottom 4th, A's up 2-0 on Santana. Things dont look good for Minnesota if they lose with Santana on the mound.

Re: Minnesota Twins vs. Oakland A's

Even if we get swept (doubt it'll happen), we still had more of a successful season than the White Sox! :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: Anyways. Our offense wasn't good at all. Mauer and Morneau a combined 0-7. That will hopefully change tomorrow. When Cuddyer got that leadoff triple in the 9th, I really thought we may win it, but Morneau swung at the first pitch (that's like a sin in Twins Ball), and lined out. We did get Cuddyer home, but it was on a ground ball out to second. Oh well. Johan looked great like usual, Crain kinda blew it, and the offense sucked. Let's go Boof.

Ouch, losing with Santana is a deflater for morale.I still think the Twins might be able to pull it off. Just gotta hope one of the other pitchers can win so then Santana can get back on the mound.

Since 1995 (I think, some year like that), only 9 of the 24 game one winners (in the first round) have won the series.

Now your behind in a playoff series with Boof Bonzer pitching, not exactly a great situation to be in.

He has the potential to be an ace, just hasn't really showed it yet. But now would be a great time to. And they have Loiza on the mound tomorrow.. he's not anything special, and then Harden after that (I think, unless he's in game 4), and Harden got DE-STROYED against LAA on Sunday. But Haren and 'Fat' Joe are two of my favorites, and they are good. It'll be interesting. We both have generally young pitching, we'll just see who can prevail.

And Venom, the question was in relation to Kenny Williams calling Big Crank an idiot

Have you guys taken stupid pills?? Since 2001, Oakland is 0-9 in games where they need 1 win to close out the series. Don't worry. The Twins will come back.
