Yeah, El Duque hurt his calf running his daily workout. It doesnt sound overly serious if we are still considering starting him Tomorrow, because of he was seriously hurt he would be 'OUT', but I would just pitch John Maine in game 1 and Push El Duque back to either Game 3 or 4 depending on if he is Healthy Enough to pitch. If hes not healthy enough to pitch though, we might be in some trouble. I trust Glavine and Maine in a big spot, but I dont really trust either Trachsel or Dave Williams/Oliver Perez/Brian Bannister/Mike Pelfrey or whoever else they might put on the Playoff Roster in that situation. We could get by having one Question Mark, but not 2 IMO. Hopefully we can get a couple decent starts though, as with our Offense how potent as it is we really dont need a Dominant Performance.

If he is healthy enough we could add him back onto the Roster for either the NLCS or the World Series, assumeing we make it. Personally Im hoping he has a T.O. like-recovery for the World Series. lolGood win for the Mets today, yeah, we caught a break with J.D. Drew not stopping at Third Base, but Delgado and Wright both had huge games, Maine pitched well, and I doubt we would have left Mota in for a Second Inning if we didnt have a 3 Run Lead at that point so I wouldnt say it was necessairily that impactful a play as ESPN is making it out to be.

But now the Mets have film on him and will make adjustments and hopefully they will have much more success the Second Time around, like they do with most pitchers.

METS SWEEP IN 3! So far our plan of relying Heavily on our Offense and the Bullpen is working really well. Trachsel only pitched 3.1 Innings and Maine only pitched 4.1 Innings, and after a couple decent innings we get the ball into the hands of our 8-Man Dominant Bullpen. Plus we managed to avoid an Oliver Perez start! lol.Get plenty of time to rest up for the NLCS now and get ready of the Cardinals/Padres winner.

The ex-Cubs factor is now 3 for 3 so far.
