    Why? I know he wasn't a top notch player, but he has to be better than whomever they got as their 5th string.

    Eagles get players cut and thats not their fault. We're just 2 good. I would love if the eagles picked em up since we're running low on cb's and we could use a speedy dback.

    Wow.. That's kind of sad to see them cut a guy that was a 1st rounder 2 years ago.. He definitely was a weak point though. Teams were throwing at him knowing that they'd get a free first down.

    Hes the kinda guy who can break out somewhere else in a different defensive system with more talented players around him... I wouldnt give up on him just yet if I were the other 31 teams in this league..

    Yeah, kinda reminds me of Duane Starks. Surround him with talent and he's amazing (2000 Ravens) but put him on a mediocre defense, he's total shit.

    I never understood how Carroll got called for so many holding penalties. He was always 15 yards away from his man anyway.
