<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Like D linemen, T.O. questions follow McNabbAssociated PressPHILADELPHIA -- Donovan McNabb walked up to the podium, sat down and announced there would be no questions about Terrell Owens.Yeah, right.T.O. and the Dallas Cowboys are coming to Philadelphia. The hype for Sunday's game could reach Super Bowl level. Not only were plenty of questions asked Wednesday, McNabb actually answered a few without juking around them the way he does tacklers. McNabb took one thinly veiled shot at Owens, suggesting he broke up the team last year. But McNabb also said he reached out to his former teammate last week to offer prayers and best wishes after Owens was hospitalized for what police termed an accidental overdose. The star receiver said he mixed pain medication he was taking for a broken bone in his right hand with his dietary supplements."Dallas' defense is pretty good. Roy Williams is playing well. Bill Parcells, he's handled it well. He's doing a good job. Jerry Jones is a great owner," McNabb said, trying his best to avoid giving the Cowboys any bulletin-board material.Prodded further, McNabb couldn't resist.Asked the difference between this year's 3-1 start and the same start last season, McNabb made it clear this group of Eagles has no me-first players. We asked some of our experts what kind of reception they think Terrell Owens will get in Philly this weekend."Guys have focused in on what they need to do as a team. There hasn't been any individual thoughts on how many plays you need to make," McNabb said. "When you play family football and confidence plays a major part in what you do, exciting things happen."You look at the things we've been able to do and it's been as a team. No one has tried to stand among themselves away from the team or doing different things. Guys are playing well together."McNabb later was asked if it's difficult to focus on the Cowboys when Owens gets most of the attention this week."I think guys understand that we're not competing against one player," he said. "One guy doesn't make a team. Break a team, maybe."McNabb and Owens helped lead the Eagles to the Super Bowl during the 2004 season, but their relationship quickly deteriorated in 2005. Owens repeatedly criticized McNabb and eventually was kicked off the team and signed with the Cowboys in March. In "T.O.," Owens' second autobiography that came out in July, Owens mostly offered his side of his tumultuous second season in Philadelphia. McNabb later called it a "children's book," mocked Owens for saying he was misquoted in his own book and disputed some of the written allegations. But McNabb didn't let the tension prevent him from sending Owens a text message last week. He hasn't even ruled out a handshake, high-five, chest-bump or hug if the two meet on the field on Sunday."The situation that happened, I never would wish that on anyone," McNabb said. "I just sent prayers his way and blessings his way and told him that I continue to pray for him."I'm a human being. What happened last year, hey, that's over. I've moved on and I just wanted to send a message that whatever has happened with that whole deal last week, if he needed somebody to talk to, I'll talk."Did Owens Respond? "No, I didn't get a response. Not that I was looking for a response, but I think the message was sent," McNabb said. "If he read it or received it, then I think he would know."While life in Dallas hasn't gone smoothly for Owens, McNabb has thrived without his former favorite target. The five-time Pro Bowl quarterback is off to an outstanding start. He's completed 59.4 percent of his passes (85-for-143) for 1,248 yards, nine touchdowns and only one interceptions. He's also run for 86 yards and two scores."He's healthy, he's not thinking about injuries, he's able to move around the pocket and get the ball to those weapons," safety Brian Dawkins said.McNabb played through pain most of last year until he had surgery for a sports hernia and missed the final seven games. Without McNabb and several other key players, the Eagles finished 6-10 and missed the playoffs after four straight trips to the NFC championship game.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2612999Does anybody else just NOT care anymore? :glare:
