I don't even think i'd draft him in the first round due to his injury history. Okay, maybe I would. But not very early round 1.
For a minute I got scared and thought this was the Bears Adrian Peterson until I realized it was in the NCAA forum. How ghetto would it be if the Bears took him. Then they could have the all-Adrian Peterson backfield.
You guys do know what this means right?1. I was proven right that Peterson is injury prone.2. I will be proven right the Marshawn Lynch will be the 1st RB taken.
It looks like he's still gonna go pro..And still be the first RB taken. I can see him returning for the bowl game and putting on a hell of a preformance before declaring for the draft
I like Mike Hart, but he will still likely be taken behind Adrian Peterson (If he does declare), Marshawn Lynch, Kenny Irons, and Michael Bush (If he does declare). I see Hart going somewhere in the Second to Third rounds.
The only reason I'm posting this is because you all are blind if you think AP still isn't at least a top 10 pick.A broken collarbone doesn't affect your forty time. He'll be back for his bowl game and scouts have tons of games to watch him do his thing in. He is a freak with amazing size and speed. Yes, he has a track record of getting hurt, but that won't stop somebody in the top 10 from taking him. He still is one of the best Running Back Prospects in the past few seasons, up in the Reggie Bush and LT class...

Just ask Charles Rogers... two years in a row.
two words ... INJURIED PRONE. Even when he goes in the NFL, he wont make a name for himself because he will be busy in rehab trying to stay healthly
You guys make the case that he is injury prone, in college. Doesn't mean he won't get stronger and not injury prone in the NFL. Knowing from personnal experience, once you break your collarbone, if you allow it to heal fully and not try to push it or use it to early, it will be stronger than it was before. There has been cases where players were labeled injury prone in college and now are doing great. A great example of that is RB Frank Gore.
Marshawn Lynch is the best back, and he has said 3 times this year that he will return for his senior year, making our big time offense the exact same this year as next year:QB-Nate Longshore(soph more this year)RB-Marhsawn Lynch(junior)RB-Justin Forsett(junior)WR-Desean Jackson(sophmore)We have 2 sophomores in the running for heisman, that's awesome, next year is gonna rock, cept, we wont have daymeon hughes..

Scouts don't care about collarbones, they care about legs and groins and hammies. Peterson is fine, he's going to make a full recovery. If it wasn't that obvious that he's going top 10, most likely top 5 (and possibly top 3), he wouldn't have already made it known that he fully plans on going pro.And now I know that everyone's going to tell me about how half those teams don't even need a RB, so let me just get it out of the way and say that's a discussion for a different time and topic.

How about Garrett Wolfe? The guy is an absolute beast and is getting Heisman considerating despite playing at a super small school.
