While statistically there are better choices, there are statistical arguments to say others are better than Urlacher too. That doesn't mean they are.Justin Miller has the highest KR yard average. He gets the best field position for his team on average.I don't feel I was too much of a homer.
Washington hasn't been a starter yet this season either...Muffed punts? That's a good thing?Miller doesn't deserve it, it's return man, therefore someone who returns both kicks and punts deserves it.
He's starting this week.Muffed punts is a good thing. You see, if the returner has trouble catching the ball, muffs it, it at the very least delays their return, and at most gives you a recovered fumble. He's the best Kick Returner in the game at the moment.
Yeah, he's starting.. great for him. He has still only started 0 games (so far) this season. He's not going to get a chance at the Pro Bowl unless he can pull a Larry Johnson off.Yeah, muffed punts is good, I was thinking of (can't think of the words) the punts that were like 10 yarders that they hit off the side of their foot. But who cares, is he even close to leading in any other punting category?Best Kick returner. But this isn't the best kick returner... it's the best all-around returner. So if you don't return both kicks and punts you shouldn't even be mentioned. And Hester has more return TD's than anyone else, I think that deserves a spot in the Pro Bowl as a return man. But who cares.. people don't really need to get serious about this until the final weeks of the season.

But he's not a "kick it as deep as possible" guy. He's a "Kick it as deep as possible while adding an impossible screwball rotation to make them fumble it" guy.The only reason he's not returning punts is because the other team is punting after he shuts them down on defense. He's a good punt returner too. And I gave Devin Hester the vote.... in the NFC.

He likes to get creative.

Just because we aren't raving about him doesn't mean we didn't pick him. [IMG]

But who cares.. people don't really need to get serious about this until the final weeks of the season.</div>So do you care to re-evalutate your stance on Justin Miller. Only Hester (2 Punt Returns) and Miller (2 Kick Returns) have multiple scores. Both are tied for the NFL lead and hold the sole possesion of their conference lead.Oh, and Hester has returned a whole.... two kickoffs. He only does one of the two as well. If you want to hold back Miller by that reasoning you have to hold back Hester.Miller leads the Kickoff Return Average by 1.8 YPR. Hester leads the Put Return Average by 1.7 YPR.Both have 2 TD's while no one else does. And indicitive of what is more difficult, only 3 Kickoffs have been returned for a TD thus far this year. 2 by Miller, 1 by someone else. 7 Punts have been returned for a TD this year, 2 by Hester, 5 by someone else.Oh, and Hester has had more PR opportunities than anyone else by 7..... Miller is middle of the pack in number of Kick Returns, yet still leads in yards and TD's. How'd that happpen?Hester is a great little return man, and he gets props for the win over Arizona.... but Miller is just a better return man than anyone else in the NFL this year.
