After Clemson's loss tonight, it's become apparent to me that this is how they rank:1. Big 10.2. Big East.3. SEC4. Pac 10.5. Big 126. ACC7. WAC8. Mountain West9. MAC10. USA

I love the Big East, but the SEC is the much better conference right now. They have much better depth, whereas outside of 3-4 teams, the Big East is just a terrible conference.

^what he said. The Big East is horrible. After Louisville, WVU, & Rutgers (huh?) there's nothing. No depth at all.The SEC is about as deep as it gets. Any one of about eight teams could win the SEC in any given year. To go undefeated in the SEC is quite an accomplishment.1. SEC2. Big 10+13. ACC4. Big 125. Pac 106. Big East7. Mountain West8. MAC9. WAC10. USA11. Sun Belt (we get no love! GO MT!)

The Big East has produced 3 great teams and one above average team, where the SEC has produced 5 good teams and 2 above average teams.

As the Big East might have '3 Great Teams', but none of them have really had a legitmate opponent yet. Whereas in the SEC you are facing a good team week in and week out. Going undefeated in the SEC is much more impressive then doing the same thing in the Big East.

But the teams at the top are much much better in the Big 10. It makes more of a difference.BTW, Auburn won by less than a TD over Ole Miss, and Florida scraped a 1 score win over Georgia, while Tennessee also only had a 1 score win over USC. These are all three supposed to be top 10 quality teams according the spurts mind you, yet they have trouble against Ole Miss and USC? Riiigggghhhhhtt...

Riiigggghhhhhtt...</div>That's exactly my point though, the SEC is such a tough conference that it's rare to have a week where you have an 'Easy Win'. 9 of the 12 teams in the SEC have .500 or better records, and the conference as a whole has a 31-7 record in out of conference games. That South Carolina team you just mentioned is 5-3, 2-0 out of Conference, and their only losses this entire season are to Georgia, Auburn, and Tennessee which are 3 very tough teams, 2 of which are ranked in the Top 10. That Georgia team you just mentioned is 6-3 on the season, 3-0 out of their Conference and their only losses this season are to Auburn, Florida, and Vanderbilt, 2 of which are ranked in the Top 10.

UFC and Pitt (6-2) both only have 1 out of conference loss and Pitt's was early in the season to a ranked Michigan St. who followed up their win over Pitt. with a 3 point loss to Notre Dame.3 Undefeateds.2 Losing teams. The middle might be better but the top of the Big East > the top of the SEC.
