Your kidding right. Rod Woodson was at his best as a CB in Pittburgh. Im a die hard steeler fan. Rod was our CB from 1987 to 1996. He moved to San francisco in 1997 where he also played CB. In 1998 he was moved to FS with Baltimore because he had lost a lot of his speed. Im the biggest Woodson fan you will find.Rod lost a lot of speed because of that Knee injury he had in 1995. Torn ACL. His 40 yard time slipped to 4.5Rod was clocked at a 4.32 40 coming out of Purdue in 1987. Big Ten 110 Meeter High hurdle champion. 1988 came in 2nd to Darrell Green in the fastest man competetion . Deion and Rod were the 2 best cornerbacks in football for years. Steelers used Rod 1 on 1 against all the best WR's. Irvin , Sterlin Sharpe , Rice.Rod was defensive player of the year in 1993 as a cornerback. 8 interceptions 4 touchdowns. It seems like you just know the 33 thru 38 year old Rod when he was running a 4.5 40 playing Safety. Prime Rod was a Elite Kickoff Returner , Punt Returner, Corner.
