I'm watching the game live, that's what the announcers reported. They speculated that Portis might be put on IR and saved for next year.
I was at the game and they didn't say a thing about it... thats a real shame, Clinton just hasn't had the greatest luck. Betts played very well in his place and Duckett looked good in his limited role as well. Right now we need to install Campbell because Brunell is just god awful.
I've certainly cracked down, and yes, Campbell at this point should be named starter. The Skins are out of playoff contention no matter what anyone says at this point. Start fresh, get some experience under the kids belt.
This is hurting the Redskins game a lot because there play is based around him. I was kinda mad to see CP get injured since he is one of my favorite players and because the run game slowed up when he left. I think the game would have been much better if he didnt get hurt.
Though he is a huge part of our offense, we aren't really looking at playoffs anymore so it's good for Betts to be able to get reps now and Duckett will also be getting carries as well. Portis needs time to rest his shoulder too because that's been bothering him all this time.
