Im convinced that unless our defense makes a huge play -- like a turnover -- we are not going to be able to win this game. This is very frustrating because our defense has played great with the exception of ONE play -- the touchdown pass.
unless we get a turnover here, this game is over. they are going to run the ball 3 straight times -- take just over 2 minutes off the clock, leaving the Jets with 4 minutes left to score 10 points, when they havent been able to score any points the whole game.
Hats off to the Bears. Ditka said it best when he said that all teams lose games, good teams will lose some but great teams make you beat them.We didn't get beat today, we lost.

Another Poor Game by our Offense, mainly Chad Pennington. Like I havent seen his official QB rating yet, but it's got to be his Third Sub 30 QB rating in the past 6 weeks. Time for a Change. :whistling: Jets Defense did their job holding the Bears to 10 points, but the Offense couldn't get the job done.Congrats to the Bears though.

IE Keep Penny in as long as we are in the playoff hunt.
^^ agree. if we are 3-7 right now, then bring in clemens, but we are surprisingly in it, just two games behind the Pats

Yeah, Big Ben led the Steelers to a SB, but A. it wasn't him winning the games, it was the running game (which we don't have) and the top notch D (which we don't have) and B. He was only put out there due to injury, not ineffectiveness. If we fall from grace and have no shot at the playoffs in week 15 or 16, hand the ball to Clemens for the last few trash games. But as long as we are in the race keep the ball with our most proven and most known option.
Part of the problem, Is I have lost all confidence in Chad Pennington. He is supposed to be known for his Accuracy, his Smarts, and his Leadership, and in the past few weeks I have seen them all leave him.- His Completion Percentage is dropped to 57.9 the past 6 games, and considering that this is one of his 'strengths' that's a VERY bad sign.- He is making stupid mistakes with the football, he should have hit Coles in the Endzone on the First Interception, and he shouldn't have even thrown the Second Ball as he was going down as he threw it. Not exactly a 'smart' move. - And his leadership is really coming into Question in my mind. Maybe I don't have any stats to back this one up, but you could see Coles and Baker's extreme frustration with Pennington watching the game because Pennington wasn't getting them the ball when they were open. The Chad Pennington of 2002 is dead. Id hate to say it, but it is. The Chad Pennington of even 2 months ago seems to have gone into hibernation. He just clearly isn't getting the job done right now and if he isn't then we need to move onto somebody who will. You want to imply starting Clemens is sacrificing the season, and maybe it is, but with the way Pennington is playing, I honestly believe he gives us a better chance to win RIGHT NOW. I have to think he is capable of beating 57.9% Completion Percentage, 57.8 QB Rating, 145.5 Yards Per Game, and a 1:2 TD:INT ratio.1 or 2 garbage games aren't going to do Clemens much good. He's going to need more then that to work out the Rookie Mistakes this season.
