Baseball players actually are the highest paid athletes. But I guess the NFL does have more money right away. But baseball you're getting paid to pitch in the minors and stuff. I want to see him play baseball.

We're talking about him getting paid like crap for 4 years, or taking a 6-7 million contract (If not more) to be in the NFL. I think he'd jump for the early money, he might make more money in the long term with baseball though, depends how good he would be.....
I would hope he sticks to football. The Cubs have a history of destroying young arms w/ 100 mph fastballs. Then, he wouldn't be able to play either sport.And the name is Smardzija
