Here is the stats of a Wide Reciever. Let me know if you think they are Hall-Of-Fame worthy or not. After I get a few opinions I will say who it is. Compared to most recievers he has had 1 very good season (1998) then had a very nice season in 2001, with the exception of touchdowns. If you ask me, it looks like his career hasn't been consistant. A true professional of HOF quality shows consistancy despite changes in environment et cetera.
No based on those stats.No based on who it is.Though, he is one of the best blocking WR's in the NFL...

Best blocking? Probably Keyshawn then, cause I don't think Ward played back in the mid-1990s.I don't think the stats are really HoF worthy. Maybe HoF ballot, but not really HoF.
No. Only had one spectacular season. (1998) If you want to get into the hall of fame as a WR you have to put up 1000 yard seasons every year or at least get to the 10 TD mark if you don't get the 1000. Plus I found out who it is and I would have said no even more forcefully had I known who it was previously.

I'll give you the stats of a WR who should make the HOF though, most underrated WR of all time:| Year | G | Rec Yards Y/R TD| 1988 | 16 | 55 791 14.4 1 || 1989 | 16 | 90 1423 15.8 12 || 1990 | 16 | 67 1105 16.5 6 || 1991 | 16 | 69 961 13.9 4 || 1992 | 16 | 108 1461 13.5 13 || 1993 | 16 | 112 1274 11.4 11 || 1994 | 16 | 94 1119 11.9 18 |+----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+Total 595 8134 13.7 65 5 Pro BowlsHis totals aren't anything amazing (except the 9+ TD's per season), but look at that Year-by-Year statline.

That's a tough one. I see the case, but if you let him in then you have to start letting people like Terrell Davis, Tiki Barber, and Priest Holmes in who really had 4 great years among an otherwise brief or mediocre career (brief in this case).

He was a stud until he was injured. Even his rookie year was better than 95% of rookie WR's years.
Oh, I know who it is...but same thing with Terrell Davis where his career was cut short with injuries.
