It's overpay but he was going to get that. I just think it's to long personally.Kyle and Rex. Face it both of you're teams suck. Neither will make the playoffs and neithers futures look bright. You need major changes. The whitesox are much better but there playing in the best division in baseball. The AL Central.

Will he be a solid option still, or will he be like most and hardly deserving of a roster spot?The length is the problem, you are right, 17 mil a year would be overpay, but it wouldn't be a problem if it were until he was 35 (4 years, 68 mil). It would be the overpay that Soriano was looking for with a realistic length.I hope for the Cubs sake that the last 3 years can be opted out of. :whistling:
