Once again Romo lead the team to a victory that Bledsoe would have given away. Although he had a slow start it is going to be hard for anyone to claim that he does not deserve to be the future for the Cowboys at quarterback. The defense really played well and got in the face of Manning. Frustrating him seems the only way to beat him and they really got it done.
I would go as far as to say the Cowboys no longer need to draft a QB on day 1, but I won't call him the future yet.
I think he's definately earned the shot to prove weather or not he can be the future by not just playing out the rest of this season, but possibly going into next season as well if he's still performing well.He looks good so far. Ever since Romo took over it seems like all the drama has left temporairily Dallas's play has improved.
Even though Romo looked great in this game, I still think the Cowboys should draft a Qb ( not on Day 1) for safety reasons. You never know he might be one of those guys who was out to prove something one year then the next they just blow it.

A guy like Brad Johnson for example should he hit free agency.

If Parcells is around though, I would not doubt it if they simply waited and signed a rookie free agent or two.

Either way the QB would be a work in progress, and you want something more then reliable then that as a backup Quarterback in case something happens to Romo.

The highest rated guy thats going to be out there is Simms but I doubt he is going to sign with a team where he will be a backup. After him, there is no one really worth talking about except maybe Shaun King who was never a very good player anyways. I would prefer taking a chance on a rookie such as Trent Edwards or Jordan Palmer. Both have some unrefined talent and should be available in the mid rounds.

Just wait until cuts come around and im sure a decent one will pop up.
