He got fired today, after leading Miami to a win and eligible for a bowl game last night. Good riddance, but stay away from Greg Schiano. :whistling:
This season for the "U" couldn't have been any worse then it was. I'm glad he got fired, they need a coach who gets after these thug players and re-directs them.
The school woulda looked bad if they didn't fire him. Singling him out may not have been the best, but it was necessary.
You can all yell at me and say I'm stupid and know nothing... but I still think we should have kept him for at least another season. Now we're going to have no coach for recruiting for at least another couple months probably.Supposedly we're going to take that Schiano (sp?) from Rutgers, but they don't know yet. The AD or whatever that chick is, is having a fund raiser for the next week or so trying to get some money so we can get a big name coach (her thing is, if the fans want us to get a big coach and they care about The U... help us get one).

I'm just hopeing he keeps to his word, which I think he will as he is reportably building a new house closer to the Rutgers campus (Plus, it's clear that Rutgers is better right now. :whistling: haha)
