<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Source: Eaton's three-year deal with Phils worth $24MBy Jerry CrasnickESPN.comFree agent pitcher Adam Eaton has reached preliminary agreement on a three-year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies worth more than $24 million, a baseball source told ESPN.com.The contract includes a mutual option for a fourth year that could bring the overall package to more than $33 million, the source said. The agreement is contingent on Eaton passing a physical exam, and is expected to be announced by the club later this week.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2677728I always liked him, thought he could be a good starter after some work with a Good Pitching Coach. Sorry to see him go to the Phillies. :glare:

A lot of money for a 5th starter in most rotations. The guy has never had a season with an ERA below 4. His best was in 2003 when he posted a 4.08 ERA
