So. Cal. lost. I told yall they were not worthy. No team that loses to Oregon State is worthy of going to the National Championship is.Florida won the SEC with 1 loss. They deserve to go.

I agree that Florida should go. They went 12-1 against one of, if not the Toughest Schedule in the Nation. They won the toughest conference in Football IMO. And plus, Michigan already had their shot.

BCS people have to be retarded to put Florida in. Look at this. The BCS wants to make money through television ratings, merchandising, etc. Think of how big the Ohio st. vs. Michigan REGULAR SEASON game was. It was like the damn super bowl. Now imagine if that game was for a national championship. On the other hand no one gives a crap about a florida vs. Ohio st. matchup. It would be a blowout IMO.

Why pull fans in from multiple parts of the country when you can have them all from 1?

We've already seen it, and Ohio State was dominant from the very beginning taking a 21-7 lead that Michigan never recovered from. Yes, the final score ended up close, but nobody who watched the game ever thought that Michigan had a chance to win it after halfway into the Second Quarter. Why would someone want to watch Ohio State overmatch Michigan all over again?

You have a chance to put a rivalry game (the biggest rivalry in the sport) in the national championship and you're going to put florida in? I guarantee that TV ratings would be a hell of a lot better for a rematch.

And Look what happened, they single handedly got beat by Vince Young.

I want more Michigan-Ohio State!! That first game left me wanting more. Not to mention, Congress has declared it America's # 1 rivalry!!

But you have to know that the guy in, say, Arizona will roll his eyes and turn off the TV if it's a rematch.

If you're going to vote for Florida JUST b/c you don't WANT a rematch, that's stupid. It has to be the 2 best teams in the country. Of course I WANT Michigan-Ohio State, but I would still be inclined to believe that Florida is better if they got the nod, since they are a 1-loss SEC team, which was no question the best confrence in football this year.

They've beaten more better teams (my gramer rokz!).Seriously though, they have a lot tougher of a schedule than Michigan, and while I don't know for sure if they are better or not, I know that Michigan isn't better than Ohio State. I can't say that about Florida. I need to see them play before I can make that claim. And you and I were talking about TV ratings. You will get more people watching the more casual fans you appeal to. Putting on a rivalry will get you a lot of die hards very into it, true, but you don't appeal to as many casual fans. Truth be told So. Cal. - Ohio State would be the matchup that would pull the most casual fans in as it pulls both east and west coasters in. But Michigan area casual fans are mostly going to watch the game no matter who plays. Now you add in the Southeastern casual fans (as someone raised in South Carolina, I can tell you that Florida isn't looked at as just another team, even before Spurrier came to SC). Casual fans from multiple regions will be engaged with the game with Florida-tOSU. Ask anyone in the marketing department of the media.
