Thought it would interesting to see how everyone is faring.I was in 3 leagues in this my first year of playing fantasy football.My first league (through another message board), I started out slow(0-3), but won my last 4 and 7 of my last 9 games to make it into the playoffs as the #3 seed. Unfortunately, my team put up their worst week of the year. Now I'm down 28 points with only Reggie Wayne left vs his Peyton Manning. Not looking good.I also joined a couple public leagues so I could get some extra "practice" leagues for future endeavors In one league, I started out hot (4-1), cooled off, but scored a ridiculous game in the final week to overcome a 40-something point disadvantage in the tiebreaker and make it into the playoffs. Likely will win this week as I'm currently leading by 15 and I have Carson Palmer to play vs his Shayne Graham.In my other public league, I started off slow in this one, too, but rallied at the end to win my last 4 & 6 of my last 7, but came up short of the playoffs by 5 points by the tiebreaker. I did win my first game of the "consolation" playoffs, though, 69-60 and will play in the consolation "championship" next week.
Team 1In all likelyhood is going to be 10-5-0 after this week ranked in 4th place as of right now (Out of 12). I never noticed until now that Combs apparantly didn't put playoffs in that league so now I guess I'm going to have to win out to have a chance to end up as the #1 ranked team (I'm in 4th right now.....)Team 27-7-0 and missed the playoffs to be Ranked in 5th Place (Out of 12). However, this team scored 1894.29 points during the regular season. 122.10 more points then Anybody else in the league and over 400 points more then one of the teams who are in the playoffs. This system sucks. I am winning in the consolation playoffs though.... :whistling:

UpdateTeam 1 - 11-5-0, 3rd Place so far, no playoffs in this league. Team 2 - 7-7-0, Lost in Consolation Finals (6th Place) - Still scored way more points then anyone else over the course of the Season. Just had rotten luck as I always went against the team that had a 'career week' it seems.
Champion of my favorite League, the one I told you guys about. I won by 4 points. Thanks God for Betts, TJ, Bulger, and Neil Rackers.
This week is my Championship week, and I will probably lose considering this kid has Bulger, LT, Westbrook, and a few good WR's. I'm only in this one league, and it's a 10 dollar buy-in, but I made it as the 2nd seed.Just a question for my team... Steve Smith didn't get one pass last week because Weinke doesn't feel like throwing at the NFL's best WR.. Do I start Smith or do I bench him for Keyshawn or even Furrey?
Got completely screwed in one league..Colston went down at the wrong time. Berrian got hurt. Alexander I actually wound up picking up off of free agency, but couldn't get the job done and caused me to bench guys like Chester Taylor and Tatum Bell on the wrong weeks. I drafted Daunte Culpepper. Enough said about that. Once I cut him, it was the duo of Grossman and Romo, with cameos from Matt Leinart and David Garrard. Chad Johnson took too long to heat up and couldn't follow up on two strong performances. Westbrook was never 100% until it was too late. Philadelphia's defense went through a big down period. At one point, my lineup looked like this:Tony RomoTory HoltChad JohnsonBernard BerrianShaun AlexanderBrian WestbrookMarques Colston..With Tatum Bell and Chester Taylor on the bench.I think I finished 7th or 8th out of 14. Only 6 made the playoffs. I remember one week it came down to MNF in a tie. He had Willie Parker and I had nobody. Yeah the odds were stacked against me, but I was pretty pissed when he rushed for 20 yards to get one point and give him the win...I did win this league though
