<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-123...la-sports-frontCould Jason Taylor have played his last game for the Dolphins? The Pro Bowl defensive end didn't discount the possibility following Sunday's 27-22 season-ending loss at Indianapolis."Anything can happen," Taylor said when asked whether he considering retirement in the offseason. "I'm not going to get into (possible reasons) ? To be honest, yes, I will have to think about it and there are no guarantees."Considered the frontrunner for the 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year that will be announced Friday, Taylor capped his standout season with a fumble recovery and four tackles against the Colts. But while he shows no signs of slowing down on the field, Taylor will be 33 entering next season and has now endured five consecutive years without a playoff appearance. Taylor also has struggled with a back injury since the preseason. The drain of a 6-10 campaign in 2006 has clearly taken its toll on Taylor. Asked whether the end of this season felt any different than the previous five, Taylor said, "It's worse. [I'm] older. It gets tougher to get through some days during the week."</div>
I doubt that he would leave, but then again I didnt think Ricky would retire, or that Saban would run, I guess anythign is possible.
Don't forget... his age is getting up there. He wants to do what is best for a lookback on his career and finish his career on a good note. The team may not have been too good, but his season was definitley something to be fond of. I think it would be a good choice.
