Gotta keep pulling for Philly..Love the Westbrook/Bush matchup. We're nothing CLOSE to the team we were when we lost to them in the regular season, on a last second field goal might I add. The Saints have been a nice story, but I think we're just hungrier and are ready to expose Colston and Bush as rookies, and an offensive line that has overproduced this season. It's going to be tough without Sheppard, but we should have Will James back and he's at least a decent replacement. Bring the blitz early and often and defend the flats for when Brees uses quick dumpoffs and screens to Bush. That's where our weakness at linebacker will be exposed, so it's really up to Dhani Jones and Omar Gaither to step it up and make some plays in order to keep Bush out of the secondary, and at the same time keep Deuce from lowering his shoulders and driving forward for piles of yardage at a time.

I dunno about this one. I'll make my pick closer to gameday. Westbrook is amazing though. Really one of the most deserving players that doesn't get enough credit.
Goodbye toHANI JONESMichael LewisQuentin MikellRODERICK HOODDARWIN WALKERAnd as big of a fan as I was of Gaither, he played like garbage on a few of those McAllister runs. That was one of the most sickening defensive showings I've ever seen from this team. We MUST reload on the defensive side of the ball. I want two new OLBs. One via first two rounds of the draft, one via free agency. Safety in the first two rounds aswell. Wouldn't mind corner depth once we get rid of Hood with the pick after. The offense is 100% legit. Stallworth probably cemented his extension, and there's great depth behind him. A big RB can be used if we don't re-sign buckhalter, and I wouldn't mind a young TE.But again, it's disgusting. I feel like I'm going to throw up. The heartless performance on defense just makes me want to put on some pads and give it a shot myself. Didnt see Dawkins or Trotter make a play once.
Maybe I'll just put on a headset and take over for Andy Reid. Punt on 4th and 15 with the season on the line? Put the pressure on the D to stop McAllister for the FIRST time after an ENTIRE game? There was so much magic behind that offense all season. You go for it there. We would have been in the same situation even if we missed it.
Reid is an idiot point blank. You dont give the ball back with 2 minutes left and with only 2 timeouts. Deuce was running over our guys with ease and it was going to be really hard to stop him 3 straight times. The Passing game had tons of big plays all game and 15 yards was more than possible. Its a boneheaded move and Andy will get questioned for it. I think the LB's played like crap. They were always blocked and they couldnt stuff anything. There seriously needs to be a LB renevation. Dhani Jhones definetely has to be replaced and Gaither is on the rocks. We do need a big RB ,now that this team is becoming more balanced. Safety position needs to be addressed because Sean and Michael suck. A good draft, a good Free Agency, and hopefully getting McNabb and Kearse back will definitely get this team another Div title next year. One hell of a year for a disrespected team.
I'm not worried about next year. I think our only big competition will be Washington if they can reload on defense. I think the Giants and Cowboys missed big opportunities this year and will fall off a bit.
GREAT game. I just got done watching it on DVR.Deuce McAllister is a Manimal. I've been saying all year he deserves the hype, not Bush. Maybe now he will get his slice of the media pie?Saints-Chargers Superbowl! :beerbang2:

McAllister didn't impress me once all game.

I said to I think it was Brooksie on AIM that they'll never see the ball back at that point and they didn't. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Goodbye toHANI JONESMichael LewisQuentin MikellRODERICK HOODDARWIN WALKER</div>Those expensive John Abraham-clones who can only pass rush and can't play the Run worth a damn should be gone too. They had as much to do with the inability to stop the run as your linebackers did.
Cole/Howard/Thomas are all fine, its not the DEs in any way shape or form. Howard isn't playing like he should but isn't as big of a liability. Its the "big guys" in the middle and each and every linebacker.
