Gonzalez is two short of the NFL record for most touchdown catches by a tight end.Terms of the deal were not announced.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2728897Is it just me, or does giving a Tight End who will be 31 next year a 5 year deal seem like a Stupid idea?

If the Chiefs o-line didn't suck so bad (yeah, I can't believe I said that either) and Gonzalez wouldn't have to block so much he'd get 80 catches and 10 TDs a year still. A 5-year deal isn't bad, but if they pay him a lot then it's kind of bad.
