Who do you guys think are the most exciting players in the league (and why)? Here's my list:10. Allen Iverson - Creates his own shots from anywhere on the floor. Great quickness on D.9. Jason Kidd - Excellent passer, very fast, and can score some funky ways when he has to. 8. Gilbert Arenas - Not very flashy, but just really fun to watch him dominate versus anyone. Has unlimited range.7. Chris Paul - One of the best young guards in the league, fast, quick hands, and has tremendous court vision.6. LeBron James - Great explosiveness for someone his size. Also a good defender and good passer.5. Tracy McGrady - Besides Gilbert Arenas, who has better range than this guy? His offensive skills are uncanny.4. Dwyane Wade - Nicknamed the "Flash"... well deserved if you ask me. It's always fun to watch him come up with a new move every game.3. Amare Stoudemire - The most dominant young player in the NBA, hands down. He can finish from anywhere inside 16ft.2. Kobe Bryant - I really have a good time watching him play. He's a very talented and crafty defender, and is the best player in the league.1. Steve Nash - Do you really want me to explain? I mean... he's... like... nevermind...
I think to be "exciting" in the NBA, a player must:- be a big name, and in most cases youth helps as everyones looking for the next superstar- have a lot of fan appeal/charisma- obviously play well- make a lot of plays to get the crowd on their feetTherefore, I agree with Stoudemire, LeBron, Paul and Wade, but as a Knick fan I also have to put Nate Robinson somewhere on that list. And in NO way do I mean for this to be controversial or racist or whatever someone here is going to label it as, but I think the black players draw a lot more fan attention than the white players do. It's just the current image in the NBA.
Jason Kidd isn't very fast anymore but I agree with your list.Although I would put Carmelo on there. Great scorer plus he fights! hahaha

Ben Gordon is also exciting when he takes over the 4th quarter
Not when he goes 9-9 from beyond the arc against the Wizards BTW, I forgot about Vince Carter.
Ricky Davis!Anyone who misses a fast break layup on purpose so he can get his own rebound so he has 10 rebounds and a triple double has got to be considered exciting! And he has sweet side burns.

He wasn't given a rebound for it
My list is based on who I find exciting to watch when they are on their game, and not 100% of the time.1. Allen Iverson. I don't know what it is about watching a little man dominate a bunch of bigger, stronger guys is... but it's fun as hell to watch.2. Shawn MarionThe best player in the NBA, and he looks amazing when he's blocking a shot, getting a rebound, hitting a 3 pointer, then stealing the ball back and slamming it down. He's great at every facet of the game and that makes him fun to watch.3. Kobe BryantWhen he's on and dropping swish after swish even with double teams in his face, it's really something spectacular to watch that only a select few have ever been able to do.4. Ron ArtestHe is the premier defender in the NBA. And what's more is that he's explosive and emotional. He will get into a premier player's face and aggrivate them for the entire game. 5. Jermaine O'Neal I know Tim Duncan is a better center, but there is something about him that is boring, and something about O'Neal that makes him exciting. O'Neal plays with a fire rarely seen for a big man.
AI - for all reasons listed aboveJason Kidd - Simpyl because, he and Nash are far and away the best passers in the NBA. They should be forced to play in the AllStar game, because they are the only ones who pass. I like Kidd more, because he rebounds, and plays defense, while Nash is only offense. But Kidd is the man.
