I don't really see how this will benefit the Pacers.Jermaine O'Neal is now surrounded by less talent around him. Sure, Dunleavy and Murphy are versatile but they're having extremely disappointing seasons and I would take SJax and Harrington's baggage anyday for what they can do with their talent. If you can't get it done with Baron Davis, I don't see how they think with a PF as the number 1 option that the team will help them. Plus, where will Ike Diogu play? He's going to rot on the bench behind Jermaine probably. He was very solid if not better than Murphy. I just get this feeling that Jermaine will demand a trade in a few days.The Warriors get lots of talent but a good share of headaches. I think with Baron Davis manning the point, the Warriors can play a run-and-gun streetball style of play. Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington are can run the floor and with their athleticism can put points on the board. But the downside is, neither aren't exactly grade A defenders. Plus with Sarunas Jasikevicius, Baron Davis will be able to drive and dish to a perimeter shooter. Dunleavy couldn't get the job done before.
Im 50/50 on the trade. Yeah, money wise, this is a GREAT deal for us, get rid of Murphy's AND Dunleavy's contract. Unfortunately, we give up Diogu, but, to get stuff you gotta lose stuff, whatever. This is the problem I have with the trade. We get great players, but we don't fill our needs. We need big-man and defense, and we got really neither. Jackson and Harrington just add to the guards/forwards that we have, with Davis, Ellis, Jrich, Pietrus, Barnes, and Azubuike. And now, added on, Harrington, Jackson, Jasikevicius, and Powell. Yeah, good players, not needs, and Jackson has to prove to me he's cleaning up his act, not just Mullin saying it...

The Pacers lost more talent, but they gained what they sort of lacked.

A group of 5 players that can all handle the ball decently at least, score from anywhere on the court, rebound when they want to (I just don't see this team as a strong rebounding group consistantly).Problem will be defense and playing teams like Miami, San Antonio, or Dallas that that can the half court game and can run as well.

Andris Biedrins will start, we need someone that's taller then 6'9" in the starting lineup, you cant have your tallest guy int he starting lineup in the NBA be 6'9".
