Is making Iraq a "democracy" with american approved leaders really fighting terror at all?</div> The Afghani people had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks, a select group of mostly Pakistani militants (The Taliban) let other mostly foreign militants (Al Qaeda) do what they want while protecting them...We have killed most of the people directly involved with 9/11...Much of the Al-Qaeda leadership in Afghanistan and people that have fled... All we are doing in Afghanistan is killing returning Taliban and keeping places secure so the government there can do it's job... What else do you want us to do in Afghanistan? We don't need more troops there....Usama Bin Laden is nearly impossible to find...he will die of health problems (he's only in his mid-50's) or he will be killed by his followers before he is ever taken alive...He's pretty much been reduced to nothing anyway, he can no longer plan attacks while being on the run and his leadership has been scattered and killed...Thats why I don't care if he's killed or not, yes it would be great to see him killed but he's so isolated that he's no longer actively doing anything. Say what you want about the Iraq War being a disaster...helping rid Iraq of Saddam Hussein has been great for the future of that country...It's going to be hard to get Iraq going because it's been a mess for so long...things like this take time...those people have been through so much.

However, the people are too stupid to realize this, the government knows that, and they just give some excuse so that they can get the support of the general public.
