Steelers got a good guy. I can't be too pissed about this.. nothing we could really do about it. Now as for the vikes, any chance they go after Mora Jr. for the newly vacated DC position?

Tomlin ran a Tampa 2. The one person I could see getting the job is Donnie Henderson who was fired from the Lions D-Coordinator spot (undeservingly). He worked togeather with Herm Edwards when the Jets ran their Tampa 2 here.

Hold the phone. ESPNews had Mike Tomlin on and he said the story is FALSE and he has not accepted any offers. It's pretty bad if SI gets something wrong. Wow..

Yea it false. I think it would be a good hire, but I still think Russ Grimm is the guy for the job.

Nevermind, I just heard on ESPN radio that someone from ESPN, i forget who, confirmed that he will be signed. The Steelers should announce it either Sunday or Monday.

Alright, I'm guessing that he's a steeler. This is some of the worst reporting i've seen though. I have 3 reputable sources posting at around 7 o'clock saying that Tomlin is the Steelers HC while I have a Pittsburgh newspaper that reported at midnight that Russ Grimm is the new head coach. I'll trust ESPN but how many conflicting reports can we have in one day?

It's going to be interesting to see how the Steelers' defense can play in the 4-3 defense.

I actually think that thier players they have right now fit the 4-3 better than the 3-4. Our LBs are getting old and aren't near as good as they were and Chris Koke can be a great starting DT.

Tomlin runs the cover 2, pretty much the worst possible defense for the Steelers right now.

    Why would Hampton become available?

Alright, well the Pioneer Press has jumped on the Tomlin as HC bandwagon, so I think it's officially time to believe it
